    What’s your ONE thing that you want to see in TLJ? Not what you expect to see, not what you think should appear given TFA’s multiple setups, but what’s your “if I was in charge” dealbreaker moment you want? It also must be something you’ll think the film will be lesser for not including.

    In TFA for me, it was Han, Luke, & Leia being in one scene.

    JJ didn’t do that (I won’t get into why, yet again). I think TFA suffers from not making that reunion happen, especially given Han being killed off and Carrie Fisher abruptly dying.



    This time around, I think Luke must use his green lightsaber. There’s no reason to let some random teenager hold onto your family’s most important heirloom, especially when she is allowed to keep it when they leave the island and go after Snoke without him having one for himself so he can go all Anakin on some fools

    I want Disney to respect some of Lucas's canon and make Luke the badass he is supposed to be, stop with the out with the old and in with the new crap.

    We don't have to throw out all the last generations heroes to make room for the next generation, just make it a fun movie where everyone comes together, brings their strengths and overcomes a great evil.

    Rey Skywalker. That's all i want. You can have your Snoke is Snoke. Have yur redeemed Ben. Heck, right now I'm willing to sacrifice Luke at the end of ROTJJ 4 Rey Sky.

    If we ever do get 10, 11 & 12 i won't go if there is no living Skywalker.

    Finn vs Kylo Round 2 - or at least Kylo acknowledging Finn in some capacity. Kylo might have won the battle against Finn, but Finn is directly responsible for many things that affect Kylo. Without Finn Kylo wouldn't have known about Rey, and certainly wouldn't have had the opportunity to kill Han. But on the flip side, Finn is directly related to Rey winning her battle against Finn (it was the two wanting to defend each other that motivated the other to greater things) and the downfall of Starkiller Base.

    The look Kylo gives Finn when he doesn't join the massacre on Jakku, the fact he knows exactly who Finn his, the "TRAITOR. We're not finished yet," moment. It could lead to so much more. It SHOULD lead to so much more. Kylo can have a special relationship (whatever the capacity) with Rey, as well as a separate yet just as powerful one with Finn (and Poe while we're at it).

    I guess that's really what I want to see. I don't want to see a Hero A has X relationship with Villain A, while Hero B has X relationship with Villain B. I want Villain A be able to think about both Hero A and Hero B AND Hero C. And the same should go for the Heroes (in the capacity that they know who the other Villains are).

    Some decent characterization, an actual attempt at worldbuilding, not having Leia and Luke squandered, having Rey develop some semblance of a personality, having Poe be an actual character instead of a deus ex machina in the form of a pilot, making the First Order more distinguishable from the Galactic Empire, having the New Republic still exist and some respect when dealing with how one trains in the Force.

    All I can think of but I'll probably be disappointed.

    A good film and that's all it should be about.

    I couldn't care at this point what the content of the film is as long as it is well told and makes sense. If TLJ achieves that then I will be very happy.

    Abandon your preconceptions and 'head canon' and accept/judge what is put in front of you. Judge the film on its merits not what you believe it should be.

    As Darth Basin said, Rey Skywalker. If Rey isn't a Skywalker, I'll really care less about her in Ep IX. I know that the main argument against my mentality is "You should like the character because she stands on her own two feet," or "You've got Ben." I do like Rey now, but the Star Wars saga is about the Skywalkers, and her mystery box will be really disappointing if she really is no one. Ben, at the end of the day, is still just a Solo.

    It's not what I want to see most, it's what I don't want to see!

    - I don't want to see another unoriginal rehash of Empire
    - I don't want to see them hype up the mystery of Snoke for him to be easily defeated and be a nobody
    - I don't want Rey to be random
    - I don't want another movie like TFA that could have been full of potential only to turn out to be a phone in project for the sole purpose of making Disney money.
