    The problem with that is they've underwritten the character so that some familial ties to the Skywalker line is the only thing that would make her even remotely interesting. It's why I'm not surprised in the slightest when people say that Ben Solo was practically the main character of VIII. Because he's one of the few new characters that are actually interesting. She doesn't even have the endearing farmboy demeanor that Luke had in A New Hope.
