Yeah but Disney actually HAS the money to do it even though they've come in under expectations in their latest conference call at 1$0.2BILLION (lol I know) but George's biggest hangup was that it would cost over $1MILLION+ to SHOOT each and every episode but with the cost of CGI going down every year, I believe that a live-action version would be doable within the next 2-3 years realistically speaking.

Very true, but Game of Thrones is extremely low on CGI. The real magic of puppetry, makeup art and stuff comes nowadays from these shows who maximize their smaller budgets. Very real sets, with CGI backgrounds. But whole worlds? It's happening in shows like Supernatural and Fear the Walking Dead, but it's a risky move. Rebels would have to be more mature and darker, or Underworld would have to be picked up by ever GoT fan, or be lightened up a bit. Some of the rumored stuff is really bloody.

Have you seen the CGI for the show this season?

I think that any live-action show to succeed for Star Wars would most definitely need to be mature in order to succeed and air on premium cable networks.

I am very open to introducing Revan back into canon. It's nice seeing Thrawn, but having the very best of the best should be brought back, and not just a single character. And Star Wars with more of a cyber-medieval feel, with much more natural settings? I would really enjoy that.

Maybe, but Star Wars is easily accessible to all ages. And seeing how big of a marketing and merchandising auto-machine that it is, I really don't think it would have to even be TV-14. Sure, it would open up possibilities, but it wouldn't be needed.
