What is Rey reacting to in the teaser?

Perhaps she was using the force to levitate multiple objects at the same time, just like Yoda had Luke do.
Another option is that there is a darkside cave or something like a darkside cave where she had a vision, maybe even of what happened at the academy.
Final option: TFO attack during a nice tea with Luke, they fight them while they flee but Rey gets kicked or force pushed (by Kylo) off a cliff, after this she runs and escapes with the Falcon since Luke tells her to.

 

what is the omnipresence of breathing in Rey's character since the start of TFA and still in the teaser ?

 

there is an ancient Yogi belief (that is becoming very popular again)
that every time you breathe in you take in a defined amount of foreign molecules, every time you breathe out you release another equal amount. that you are replacing or changing yourself. With finite amount of Molecules in your body and that replacement, you can be essentially a completely "different" person after so many breaths. With yoga so popular today in the world, and in Hollywood, and the religious nature of Star Wars sects, it wouldn't be surprise me to see these teachings slip into that universe as the Jedi change.

 

Her new found Alter Abilities. She is levitating the pieces of rock, then levitates herself....maybe has a vision...then falls to the ground. Just like Dagoba.

She is obviously in a meditative seating position when the rocks are being lifted. I'm going for a deep state of rising meditation, which was a bit too much for her atm, hence the heavy breathing.

There is a scene in the trailer that looks to be a different angle of Luke and Artoo from TFA from the ForceBack. My thinking is that it is very likely that another more detailed ForceBack is coming. In ESB and Luke is levitating rocks is when he falls, Yoda falls and he has been having visions of Han and Leia in danger. So its possible that in the midst of training she experiences a vision again.

 

Rey is reacting to the mess and smell inside Luke's man cave. Islands such as his do not have plumbing.

 

Actually, most of the shots in the first TFA teasers weren't actually in the film (although some similar ones were).

 

I think she's reacting to who her parents are...

 

It seems to me she has just emerged from that cave after a powerful force vision. Perhaps she has envisioned herself as Vader, gasping for breath through a respirator with his scorched lungs. Luke saw the same thing in Empire, albeit from an outside perspective. Maybe she went inside Anakin, and the view she sees in her vision is her own beheading.

 

She had a vision of the future, Ben, Finn, Poe, Kelly, and needs to confront it.

 

Good idea, this could lead to the casino visit.

 

I think that it has been confirmed that Kelly Marie's character is called Rose.

A force vision of her parents?

 

I like it how everyone is saying this movie will be just like The Empire Strikes Back, not realizing that Luke will be training Rey on througout the movie on a number of different planets/locations: in fact more akin to the portrayel of Obi-Wan/Anakin and Qui Gon in TPM than Yoda and Luke in ESB. Also Rey has already had her ESB force vision moment in TFA. Any vision on Ach'to will only be suplementary to the first.
