    Is this still canon? I know Taris as a planet is, but not if it suffered destruction during the Old Republic days.

    I see absolutely no reason why they should era KOTOR from canon, because everything from the game The Old Republic is canon. So....yes I think.

    I... don't think this is true.

    Even "The Old Republic" is still part of Legends because it got released before the Disney deal. Not much of it is canon even in the comic's timeline, because the Treaty of Coruscant was never signed in the new canon and Coruscant didn't become the Republic's capital until the very end and mostly because of the Jedi presence on the planet.

    And the Eternal Empire dlc they added. Is this canon? This is all after the old eu wipe.....

    it's a good story... but it's not what I think of when I think Star Wars, you know? But to answer your question: no, I don't think it is. It is an extension of a product (that is non canon) so it is technically also non canon by association. KotFE and KotET definitely feel like BioWare just embraced the freedom of working on a Legends material.
