    Greetings, @cawatrooper ! I've seen you around the Cantina, glad you've found this little (but growing!) corner of it now, too!

    The illustrations above are part of an incredible, ever expanding, interactive adventure set (roughly) in the era of the Old Republic. @Alamact started the comic rather humbly here in the Casino over a year ago. Since, it has rapidly grown into a Cantina phenomenon with a pretty substantial following. The original thread, with all sorts of guidelines and background information, can be found here:

    In a nutshell, the author, @Alamact, takes user suggestions and illustrates them (as you see above) into a semi-weekly comic. We're currently in the early chapters of Act II, with a rough outline of 5 acts in total. If it's something that sounds interesting to you, I suggest checking out the thread and joining up when you have the chance! The first Act alone took almost a year from start to finish, so it's something that will be a mainstay here for some time to come.

    Simply put: it's the Old Republic setting in the new canon as a comic where we get to decide what happens in the story and how our main heroes turn out.

    ...you can guess why it's as addictive. :D

    I'm a fan of city-style hubs, so Coruscant, Onderon and Nar Shaddaa for me.

    That would be because we haven't visited Hoth in the comic as of yet. :D

    Coruscant is @Alamact at his best yet. So... yeah, pretty much what I voted for. Dantooine gets the point for KotOR nostalgia (and for the comic perfectly recapturing that magic visually) and the third one went to Corellia for being the first planet I saw from this adventure that made me fall in love with the style.

    I recently came across "The Only Sci-Fi Star Chart You'll Ever Need" (RPG forum thread) and thought this a good place to share it.

    Most tropes fit our favourite Space Opera and some KOTOR locations invoke scenes of "Space Faring Rome" in my mind...

    And the "Sufficiently advanced aliens who give zero F's" section reminds me of the Rakatans. Which does make me wonder what is up with those guys in the comic's timeline.

    Well.. if we're staying true to at least the general KotOR storyline then that must mean that the Rakatan Empire is pretty much dead by this point.

    For the Rakatan Empire, surely, I agree. I was wondering more about the species as a whole. Perhaps it's not out of the question that we'll see one (or more) of them down the line.

    Well, there's the Cathar, of course - but I'm not sure if we have any specific reason to visit their homeworld at the moment. It's pretty far out and remote in the Outer Rim Territories (near Taris, to be precise), meaning that by this point - it's either occupied by the Empire or might as well be.
