I just finished Tarkin and am trying to figure out what is the next novel I should read while trying to avoid spoilers for Rebels and Clone Wars. I am almost done with Clone Wars (the show) and haven't started Rebels yet (I don't have cable). I want to try and get through as much of the canon as possible before TFA. I have read the three "kids" books about Han, Leia and Luke, Lost Stars and Aftermath. I was going to read Dark Disciple or New Dawn next, but both appear to have potential spoilers for the shows. Is there another novel that is available now that I should move on to next? Should I move on to comics (I don't own any of them yet but want to read them as well)?

Also....does anyone know of a good site to watch Rebels? Since I don't have cable, it is making it hard for me to stay caught up with all this wonderful canon!!!

A New Dawn is perfect for you. It was originally released before Rebels aired in order to establish the characters Kanan and Hera. No spoilers for the Rebels series, and a rather good story.

Don't read Dars Disciple, many TCW spoilers. I would read the Canon Darth Vader comics, Shattered empire or the Lando comics, very nice stuff

I am reading Lords of the Sith now. Great follow up to ROTS. Takes place on Ryloth and its about Vader and Emperor squashing a rebellion. Hera's parents are the leaders of the rebellion on Ryloth as well. Very cool tie in between multiple SW projects.

This is pretty much my thinking exactly. A New Dawn is a self-contained story that doesn't extend into the time period of Rebels at all.

I don't know if this is still considered cannon but as you read tarkin how about Death Star as this deals with the whole construction of that iconic weapon of the empire

& the Vader comic is Absolutely superb

ALL THE COMICS IN THE WHOLE WORLD!!!! (yoda)
Seriously though, I'm a big fan of the new canon comics that have been coming out.

I only buy a few of them but you can find them all free online.
    Find them free here http://www.hellocomic.com/issue/search?q=star+wars
(I'm not sure how legal this site is)

    * You don't have to have seen Rebels to enjoy the Kanan comic series and there really aren't any spoilers.

Go for Lords of the Sith, it's great!
New Dawn and the Kanan are prequels to Rebels and give insight for Kanan.
The Shattered Empire is a nice after ROTJ comic run.

As others have said, keep Dark Disciple until you finish TCW.

Although I believe they are not technically canon anymore......I personally fell in love with The Bounty Hunter Wars novel series years ago. As an obsessive, die hard Boba Fett fan, a story about his survival of the Sarlacc and his dealings thereafter absolutely thrilled me and truly made me fall in love with the notorious bounty hunter on a way deeper level. This book series, in my opinion, captures the very essence of each character correctly, and gives a way more in depth realism to the Star Wars universe.
The vocabulary used is also at a decently raised level for the more intellectual readers. Years ago when I was young, these books greatly increased my ability to read, comprehend, spell, and define on a more efficient level. This series allows Boba's genius, hustle, and personality (or lack there of) to shine.
Looking back in hindsight on how canon has developed, I actually don't see any reason why this book series would NOT fit into canon, theoretically speaking.
I highly recommend you read this series! Especially if you are butthurt about how they treated Fett in ROTJ. :p

    HAIL K. W. JETER!!!!
