SPOILER Will Luke board The .... ??

Yeah... that struck me to be a reveal as well. I mean, I'm assuming this interview was recent and after the release of the teaser, correct? So we already knew the Millennium Falcon was in the movie.

I'd have to say he appears on the Falcon in at least one scene, or at least shot a scene there which may or may not be in the final version of the film.


That or he just had to remember if it was known that the Falcon appears or not. Like, he had to remember "Yes, it was in the teaser"...

 

Either he is on it during the film or like a lot of people on set he checked it out while on set.

The fact that he said it makes me think he doesn't appear on it in the film but who knows.

 

Good thing he didn't get injured like Harrison Ford!

 

On a side note, I was thinking it'd be really strange for Luke to not appear at least once on the Falcon.

Then I started thinking... other than ANH, he really never appeared much on it, did he? In ESB, I think he just appeared once, at the end after losing his hand, if I remember correctly. And RotJ he was on it... never? Am I remembering that correctly, or am I a bad fan?

 

Luke will totally ride on the falcon again... They should bring everything back full circle from A New Hope.

 

Thought the same upon hearing it... but none of the fan sights focused on it... and no artwork thus far has Luke aboard... I'm thinking he was just on set... and for old time's sake, he boarded and probably made a gag about avoiding Harrison's injury.

 

If Luke Skywalker himself is to be believed, George Lucas is really happy and in 'a good place' now. Maybe he doesn't mind Disney using (that much of) his treatment for episode seven, trusts JJ and co, and is along with the rest of us for a wild and nostalgic ride into a galaxy far, far away

 

I have a feeling Luke will board the Falcon in one of the final scenes, as in, he has been found and picked up.

 

It is important to remember that kevin smith has been on the falcon too. I think when Mark thought "can i say this?", he was just trying to remember if it was known that the falcon was in the film.

Even before this we all assumed it was at least somewhat likely that Luke gets on the falcon on film, but this clip doesn't confirm anything to me other than the fact that mark hamil checked out the falcon.

 

I think he will be on it at least once. Hmmm maybe there should be a wager on it. Will he or won't he be aboard the Falcon

Put your credits on it in the casino! I'm sure people will take that bet. He said in an interview how surreal it was being back onboard the Falcon set. But was he shooting a scene, or just having a look see?

Nope, you're not a bad fan because you're absolutely correct. In ESB Luke was on the Falcon once after his showdown with Vader on Bespin, and then.....never again. Not at all in ROTJ.

 

Luke will have to board the falcon sometime Im sure flying in that xwing 24/7 bores him.

 

If it is true that Han is involved in the search for Luke (and assuming Luke is missing) then I would say Luke does fly on the Falcon at some point in the movie

 

It's likely that it will happen even though none of the current popular plot interpretations makes it clear that it happens.

It's odd seeing Mark Hamill like this. He looks like a rock star with that amount of hair! Even though I have to admit he also looks older than the last time I saw him.

 

They will probably give it a trimm to suit the hairstyle we are used to seeing.
