SPECULATION Will they have Children?

Seems like a tall order to try to fit the progeny of these established characters into the Episodic movies. I honestly get the feeling that maybe you'll see some guest spots from family members or offspring of the established characters you named, they'll probably opt for new characters who are a clean slate for them to write. I think we'll see how TPTB are leaning on this issue with how they resolve if Rey is Luke's daughter or not.

It seems like they've marketed heavily towards her being that, and I think they are flirting a little bit with danger to do a surprise reveal that she isn't his daughter at this point (unless they have a REALLY good reason to have her parents be some one else)

 

Rey Nobody and Finn Big Deal have a baby. But because Rey is a Skywalker from a certain point of view they name their baby Han Skywalker.

 

Interesting question. At the heart of it, Star Wars is simply a story about the Skywalker family. Take away all of the space ships and lasers, and the PT and OT give us the story of a man who fell from grace and was redeemed by his son. I once heard that George Lucas considered setting this story as a western instead of in outer space (don't know if this is true or not). If he had, it would still have been a great story.

It will be interesting to see how long LFL carries on the Skywalker story. To me, if it is just going to be called "Star Wars", it should be about the Skywalker family. I would love to have stories of other Jedi, Sith, force users, etc., but that should be designated as something slightly different, or at least not portrayed as a continuation of the main SW saga. If there is another trilogy, for example, that is clearly marketed as not being about the Skywalkers, I would be fine with that, but it should be marketed as something like The Knights of the Old Republic.

So there’s no romance?

Boyega: Yes, Finn and Rey – they’re just friends. Finn is a storm trooper, so he doesn’t really know what’s going on. So the romance thing is something that’s going to be interesting in the next installment. It’s not going to go the way you think it’s going to go."

That just means there is chemistry with him and Tran's character. But Finrey will come back around.
