Yes. Slim because, unless a colony of them escaped, they are all dead by the time of the R1 timeline. (see S2 Rebels, which was pointed out several times above).

There will be NO GEONOSIANS IN THIS MOVIE.

Is there a specific timeline of events for when S2 is and R1 is ? Also, it's canon that the planet was eradicated and wiped out after ROTS .considering The Geomosians practically engineered The Death Star, they would be wiped out for certain once the 'Star was completed to destroy any witnesses .

Not that I have yet seen. There are some specifics out there but I am not able to search at the moment.

That was the first thing I thought of when I read Vader. The Empire wouldn't want anybody to find out what they had planned with the Death Star- heck, a lot of Imperials, it seems, were shocked by its reveal.

I wouldn't be shocked if they even killed all of the initial troopers during the first test run and they were clone troopers to begin with ...

Possible. But I thought the clones got laid-off very soon after Palpatine made himself Emperor. From what Feloni said, the clones have been wandering around, doing odd jobs and getting older. It's possible Palpatine had a bunch of clones work on the Death Star and them had them killed, though.

The planet was sterilised, but the Empire used the surviving population as little more than slaves. The Geonosians were used as slave labourers to construct the Death Star, and mine asteroids encompassing Geonosis for minerals. This information is directly from Tarkin. There is no information on Geonosians after ep 4 however, unless you count the queen from Vader #4.

sort of hoping to see one perhaps in the Casino Cantina sequence. It would be a good callback to the PT!
