    With the release of Hasbro's new The Force Awakens Millennium Falcon play set and it's new design it got me thinking. With the departure from the old design and layout is there another reason behind this change other than just a fresh new take on the play set?

    Is there a chance that we will see a new section of the Millennium Falcon's interior in The Force Awakens?

    So what does everyone else think, will we see a new section of the Millennium Falcon's interior or won't we?

    I would love to see more of the Falcon. I've really wanted to see more cargo space because it's a freighter, but we never see more than several rooms.

    I agree. Just seeing the Falcon will be cool \m/

    I can't wait to see the response the OT cast get when they each appear on the big screen again. I'm guessing there will be a lot of cheering (I know I will be).

    Look at those buttons! They're new details!
    They weren't there in 1976 or 1979 or 1982.

    A film production should only build what the camera will see. Building what the camera won't see, is a waste of money.

    I believe that level of attention to detail, applied to the chess table, was also applied throughout the current Falcon set.

    So again, yes: I think we are definitely going to see more new parts inside the Falcon.

    Also
    In the 3rd trailer we see Rey and Finn with Han on the Falcon and they look like they are viewing what appears to me as holographic images.
    Those images could be generated by the Falcon? (more likely they are by R2-D2 or BB-8)
    We've seen holographic images on the Dejarik board in the Falcon before but no where else.
    That could be something new.

    The impression I got, was that those holograms were projected by the Falcon.

    I'd like to see the areas featured in the Nelvana animated segment from The Holiday Special in real. In general there shouldn't be too much space left, considering the aft section rather looks like a big engine block.

    What I'd really like to see is how to access the escape pods that apparently are located unter the circular, black solar-foils in the aft section (with an empty one of these being used to attach to a docking tube to the Rebel "Nebulon" Cruiser near the end of ESB).

    I think maybe we will actually see the cargo hold. It would be pretty cool to have Han say something like;

    "Yeah, about that...We have a little surprise in store for those First Order bucketheads. Chewie, Show 'em!"

    Then a door opens and we see a big ass pile of explosives and weapons stored in the hold before they head off to assault Starkiller base.

    Heard about a speeder or something of that nature being called the Falcon Pod. It was one of the concept art pieces we saw a while back.

    Would be cool if it was actually kept in the cargo bay and /or it is one of the escape pods for the Falcon that was modified \m/
