The dog days of summer bring with them an intriguing month of Star Wars comics. This July, the road to Return of the Jedi heats up for Marvel as the ongoing Star Wars and Darth Vader series approach the magic 50-issue mark. The time has come for Leia to put the plans in motion to save Han. Meanwhile, Vader has his own plans to save(?) Luke, but not if Sabé has anything to say about it. Exciting and dangerous times lie ahead.

Also, two new series are debuting: the recently announced Inquisitors miniseries and the Ahsoka Disney Plus series adaptation (maybe Thrawn will get justice this time around).

Before we get going, here are a few recent things in the galaxy of Star Wars comics you may have missed:
    • Piggybacking off the intro, recent trade paperback information for Star Wars and Darth Vader points to both series potentially ending at issue #50.
    • Further trade paperback information has revealed The Acolyte is getting a one-shot comic. Stay tuned for more information on both of these bullet points.
    • Looper has released a preview for April 24's Darth Maul: Black, White & Red #1
    • These shall be featured in next month's preview, but August solicits for Dark Horse's Crash and Burn, the follow-up to Crash Landing, and the newly announced Echoes of Fear by George Mann are now available.

Now, looking ahead to July, check with your local comic book shop on what pre-order options they have available (or you can be boring and choose digital). You can visit here for a refresher on what else is coming from Star Wars comics. As a reminder, the very nature of comic solicitations is spoiler-filled, so be aware before going forward.
