How am I off-topic with disregarding spin-off material for upcoming movies
and Togruta's lifespan is not Crazeeey

 

I think we can have some fun with TFA speculation if we think in terms of "what scenes can we take from the OT and flip them so that they are thematically opposite?"We already have some examples of this

Example:
OT=Luke goes to a swampy forest planet to find a hiding Jedi Master.
FLIP IT
TFA=Kylo Ren goes to a snowy forest planet to find a hiding Sith Lord.

Some ideas off the top of my head:
OT=Large Imperial ship chasing small Rebel ship.
TFA=Large Rebel ship chasing smaller Imperial ship.

OT=Humans buy droids from the Jawas.
TFA=Droid (or cyborg) buys a human from the Jawas.

OT=Vader is a former Jedi who became a Sith.
TFA=A Jedi is introduced in TFA who was once a Sith.

OT=Luke has a clear path to join the Rebels and he gains recognition by destroying Death Star.
TFA=A new character has a clear path to join the Imperials and he gains recognition by destroying a Rebel compound.

OT=Han is a mercenary who takes a job from Rebels and finds the good in himself.
TFA=A mercenary takes a job from the Imperials and finds the evil in himself.

OT=Luke and Leia find out that they are siblings.
TFA=Two people who thought they were related actually are not.

OT=Flesh hands are severed, and cybernetic hands are attached.
TFA=Cybernetic hands are severed, and flesh hands are attached.

I would love to hear more ideas from you all.

 

Just think how fun it's gonna be looking back on all of the rumors and posts a year from now when we've finally seen TFA! I can't wait!

 

This just popped in my head. Really upside down idea!
What if the Empire is good and ''Rebels'' are bad?
We had rumours of Han and Chewie piloting Star Destroyer, we saw black X-Wing with Poe Dameron not looking so fun.
Adam Driver is rumoured to be an aspiring Sith apprentice and we saw him possibly in Rebel pilot uniform.

It's dumb and I know it won't happen, but if it was like this, my eyes will pop out in the cinema )
You know, it will return the white armored guys back to republic

 

I have thought this, and i think i saw a few people on here speculate about that very scenario. If done right it could be interesting. I think it is feasible that the Rebels could now really be in control of the Storm Troopers and such.

I don't know if it will happen because it may confuse the average movie goer too much.

 

How about TFA opens with storm troopers coming out with guns blazing just like in ANH. But this time we see it from the Storm Troopers' perspective.

Some speculation on "X-wings over the water".

There was a rumor that Isaac and the 2 other pilots are on a mission to kill a "beloved OT character". There was a less discussed rumor that Isaac goes against orders and turns on the 2 other pilots, threatening to shoot them down if they go through with the mission.

This got me thinking -- what if Driver is one of the other pilots? Driver might be one that just wants to follow orders, or he might have a personal vendetta against the OT character because of his beliefs.

If Isaac shoots down Driver (imagine the fire coming up from behind cockpit like OT), Driver would be severely burned / injured, thus requiring the cybernetics and later on, mask (there were rumors that he Driver is missing half of his face). He would also be "presumed dead", rather than labeled as "deserter".

 

Some have said he looks a little beat up in the cockpit. Maybe he and Driver and have bit of a scuffle before the take off on the mission. Poe goes to keep an eye on him and...

 

Apparently Ian Whyte of Game of Thrones is Chewbacca's double.

 

I think we're all coming to the conclusion that not everything will be as it seems in TFA. While I don't think we'll see terribly radical shift between who the "good" and "bad" characters/sides are, I think that the lines between the two and the motives driving the characters will be as clouded as Bespin and as murky as a Dagobah swamp.

 

For those wondering, he was the 2nd season Gregor Clegane, not the one from the 1st season or the strongman who played Ser Gregor in the 4th season(total of 3 different actors). Also plays all the giants in the show so I guess he was right at home in a wookie costume.

I think we are going to see a POV stormtrooper charge rather like the D-Day invasion scenes in Saving Private Ryan. And I think that would be amazing.

 

I'm not going to lie, that would be incredibly bad ass.

8am flight down to Disney tomorrow. Will be there through New Years. Will report any findings.

 

As cool as that would be, it wouldn't gel with filming style of the series.

 

I had thought after filming had wrapped there would be tons ofleaks and rumors. But it seems like less than before they did. Or scattered here and there.

 

I remember reading that there will most likely be a lot of spoilers coming in February from the UK crews that are no longer under contract with the production.

Plus, still being a year away from the release of TFA, we've gotten a lot more than I thought we would at this point. But I still check for new spoilers every day!
