Yes, but this is where it gets confusing:

 

I'm curious how exactly a lightsaber leads them to Luke. There is something BIG we are missing about the lightsaber. Objects don't usually lead people to other people. People are usually in search of objects. What makes Luke's "Youngling Killer" lightsaber so special?

 

On the Falcon after the Freighter battle, BB-8 pops out the lightsaber. Han sees it. "Hey, that's my friend's lightsaber! We better find him to give it back to him!" Cue epic journey. Something like that, I'm imagining.

 

It's also been said to be Luke's green saber.

 

I have no clue. Of course we are missing tons of info. Maybe it shows a hologram message or something. Wish I knew

 

This lightsaber stuff sounds way too much like a New Hope's beginning to me. Our heros start on Tatooine, the catalyst for the adventure is a lightsaber (droid) with a message, the Empire attacks and Han Solo helps the heros get away on the Millenium Falcon. Unless that's their intention- I hope they don't pull a George Lucas: "It rhymes......"

 

I think in the most recent MSW podcast JW says that it's the blue saber. I may be mistaken...

 

No they (of the MSW podcast) said blue saber on the latest.

 

Makes sense it's the blue one, as that is supposed to be the one we hear at the end of the trailer.

With all the he said she said stuff, I was just stating other thoughts that had been put out there.

 

I believe MSW have reliable sources... but what if they´re wrong?

The podcasts are actually pretty detailed in terms of the info he gives out over the week. Definitely answers some questions going around.

 

I really hope the lightsaber falling through sky nonsense is not the real plot of this movie. Even more so the blue Anakin one

 

Ok I have been thinking about some of the more recent MSW rumors and I think one may not be too far off base given the little real info we know to be true. The rumor that I'm talking about is the one about Rey and Finn stealing the Falcon. The reason I think this may not be far off is because of the teaser trailer. As we all know, Andy Serkis when talking about the "awakening" says the dark (shows Kylo) and the light (shows the Falcon). It is now rumored that this scene is the scene after Rey and Finn steal the Falcon. It makes sense because the awakening on the light side is likely in Rey and also Finn as well. It can be argued that Han could be flying it with Rey and Finn in it but I think it fits better with Rey and Finn alone in it.

 

Well that would make alot stealing going on of ships.

Poe crashes x-wing, Poe and Finn steals Tie Fighter.

Now Finn and Rey steal the Falcon?

 

It just seems wrong.....gotta be Chewie or Lando in the cockpit...could make for some (funny?).......or not...."let's try spinning. That's a cool trick.".....or whatevs.

 

Fair point. I could argue that two ships are not a lot. However the main point of my post is that if you take the little bit we know as true (the trailer) with some of the rumors out there, the stealing the Falcon rumor could line up and be right. I am not arguing that it is.
