Tomorrow I'll have Jedi Knight II and Jedi Academy in a twofer package for the Nintendo Switch. It's still out there, it's still selling, it's still getting ported. What I think they should do is let some modders create new missions for them and release them as DLC.

Y'know, this is absolutely possible, and Hera certainly has some parallels with Jan Orrs. Still, I think there's more than enough room in the Galaxy for Kyle and Jan even with all these other pairings inspired by them. Couples going out and fighting in the galaxy against evil could just be a thing, right? Why not?

What if they did a rehaul on the Force and lightsaber system?

Force neutral abilities use Force energy and include:
    - Jump
    - Push
    - Pull

Light/Dark Force powers use Force energy AND you can pick one of three every time the option is available (there is a 7.5-second cooldown for side-specific Force powers)
    Light:
    - Heal
    - Protect: Can deflect one blaster/lightsaber attack with your lightsaber off (there are perks to not using your lightsaber, as I will explain). The protection wears off if not used in 2 seconds.
    - Absorb: Can absorb one Force attack. Absorb wears off if not used in 2 seconds. Absorbing a Force attack will COMPLETELY replenish Force energy.

    Dark:
    - Choke
    - Lightning: Deals damage and uses Force energy. Also, drains the enemy's Force energy. More damage/energy drain per second.
    - Drain: 1.75-second immobilized ability charge-up. If successful, replenishes some of your Force energy and health, as well as COMPLETELY draining the enemy's Force energy. If failed, you will COMPLETELY drain your own Force energy!!!

    ----------------------------------------------------------------
    Lightsaber perks:
    - Activating your lightsaber will allow you to defend attacks without using Push/Protect/Absorb and allow you to strike with your lightsaber.
    - Deactivating your lightsaber will increase the effects of your Force powers.
    - You can only toggle your lightsaber once every 2.5 seconds.

    Lightsaber color perks:
    - Blue/green/yellow/white gives you access to Light Side Force powers.
    - Red gives you access to Dark Side Force powers.
    - Orange/Purple gives you access to both, but the cooldowns are twice as long and the effects are not as powerful.

    Lightsaber style perks:
    - Normal lightsaber
    - Crossguard lightsaber: Gives you increased saber defense, but your Force powers are less powerful.
    - Dual-bladed lightsaber: Gives you increased saber offense and defense, but your Force powers are less powerful and you move more slowly.
    - Dual normal lightsabers: Gives you increased saber offense, defense, and you move more quickly, but you have no side-specific Force powers.
