    Well apparently he had already approached at least Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher before CV in 2010 and was in development before selling it to Disney
    .

    They need to make great anthology films after Episode 9. They absolutely shouldn't make Episode 10-12 at least not for a long time. Non hardcore fans and let's face the sad truth most fans are not as passionate as us here, will get sick of it. It makes a lot more sensto delve into The Old Republic and the early days of the Galaxy. I think that's more appealing at least from my point of view.

    I really think that Disney WILL make 10-12 but I agree they should take off maybe a decade before getting at it though and just fill in some gaps with anthology films. Even anthology films about things within the ST not just the OT or PT.

    i'm old. i don't want to wait a decade, but i do agree a small break would be good to keep it fresh.

    in the meantime they can build the EU with comics and cartoons for ST-related adventures (pre or post TFA).
    i'm less interested in endlessly revisiting the old republic/empire dynamic.

    My hope is that after the sequel trilogy, Disney will go back and visit the Old Republic Era before the prequels.
