That would be great & maybe she could teach Luke a few things.

Of course then you would give rise to the Ashoka is Rey's mum theory which would be a good resin not to go there

Er... maybe the Mendel Laws of Inheritance wouldn't sustain that theory LOL. But you are right, people will make up a theory out of anything! :D

As a student that has genetics as one of his subjects I can say that Mendel's Laws of inheritance in order to hold up need to be seriously altered and even then they sometimes don't hold up at all. :p

Then the maternal montrals and lekku would be recessive genes?

Judging by the appearance of Sheeah and Jek (human-Twilek children from TCW season 2 episode "The Deserter,") lekku are dominant.

Yep, I was thinking of them as evidence of the opposite.

Though some would argue that since the father was a clone, perhaps that fact enhanced the lekku gene to become dominant LOL.

Come on LFL, give us descendants from Kanan and Hera to solve the mystery LOL :D

I wonder if the bandit/angel thing is foreshadowing.

Some of the way the articles have been presenting it though has been bugging me. We know that Luke had to have had some contact with Leia at various times, though they keep it quiet because of the films, there are more than 20 years between Bloodlines and Empire's end. And Ben somehow got sent to Luke. He had contact with them. Another thing some of the articles suggest is that this was the start of the breakup. Um, from the excerpt Han just doesn't know what to do yet, we know he becomes a racer as some point. It sounds like it was at least a few years of peace and the PTB have suggested such. I am sure Luke never gave up his quest for more knowledge.

I'm just happy Lando is in this, still got a bad taste in my mouth that he wasn't invited to any of the new films. They just need to advise him to shed some weight haha get back to the old Lando form we love. Stay away from the Colt 45's haha...

hemmmmm.... I'm sorry but... I'm a (quite)stupid french and I probably may have some problem in understanding english.
What I've read at the end of that link, is Lando coming back to Bespin with Lobot. The Cloud City is void and abandoned(?) after ROTJ events.
I'm not sure if there are still some living persons on it... I guess yes...
But my main problem is with the title: "Lando Calrissian Ponders a Very Important Baby Gift in This Excerpt From Star Wars Aftermath: Empire's End"
Well the baby is Ben, I understood that. But what about that "very important gift" ? I don't understand. Was it the joke Lando made about the cape and the mustache ? A cape and a mustache, a very important gift? something doesn't work... or it is just humour I don't get?
And I don't understand the end of this excerpt. What's happening? who is "trapped" behind the door ? I don't understand. Living persons? Imperials? Lando's former crew?

please can someone, with a few words, light my head, because it's very dark here. Thank you a lot. ;)

The very important gift is indeed the cape and moustache, just a bit of humour is all, make him like "good old Uncle Lando"

The people behind the door? Gotta read the book to find out ;)

    Thank you very much!
I was afraid the "gift" was related to these persons behind the door - and I was totally lost ;)
    thank you

(edit) oops! as I write I just understand: "very important" refers to the baby, not to the gift!
It is "a gif for a very important baby" (some joke with "very important person" V.I.P)
well done M. The Hud ;) you made me understand it was joke. All of it.

That is something that could have some impact on the following movies.

Billy Dee did Dancing with the Stars 2 or 3 years ago and looked pretty good for almost 80. He even did a Lando/Star Wars themed routine.
