It's a simple, geometric thing so it probably appears in multiple contexts. But, if you happen to be familiar with the Warhammer miniature wargame (or accompanying mediums), this symbol is exactly the same as the battle standard/faction emblem for the skaven rat-men people. Of course, it is very unlikely that the writers/designers for Andor got it from Warhammer, though.

 

That escape, Luthen passing in front of the command bay, the officer inside watching the ship escape... all of it reminded me of the scene in TESB, when Han and the Falcon evade the Executor just after the asteroid field : admiral Piett sees him escaping in front of the window.


Except in Andor, the camera is outside and we see the commander's annoyance through the window.

Did anyone catch that the Arrestor Cruiser was the Cantwell class?

As in Colin Cantwell, original designer of much SW equipment?

Funny, when this scene started, I remembered before the Aldhani raid took place, Luthen was fidgeting around the shop and Kleya told him, "if you want to be useful, go clean some coins..." Now here she is full of anxiety, cleaning coins. That must be a very therapeutic chore.

Hey @Angelman I totally respect your opinion on Andor and am not offended….

 

I am huge fan of the show by now, but can't imagine, how they will fit ending for all the story plots at the end.
Can't wait for the finale.

Luthen's escape was really cool and I loved it, but it felt somehow shoehorned in into how the episodes are usually structured and played out, unless the empire will now watch for a highly advanced hauler ship.

Everyone feels bad for Marva's droid and it really was a heartbreaking scene.
But for some reason, with some of the shots from the droid's first person and how the empire and even Luthen are checking Casian's former home,
I had strong feeling that one of them are using the poor droid to monitor Marva's house and the people in contact with her (droid insisting on the guy staying).
I hope that's not true, otherwise that would be sick, in the negative sense.
It was really easy for Reeva to hack Leia's droid with a simple tracking/some device and seeing the droid running errands earlier, it would be idiotic from the Empire to not exploit the droid.

 

I agree. The good news/bad news is that we know we are getting 12 more episodes to close all these stories. Just gonna have to wait. I think the finale is going to solidify some character and set them on irreversible courses rather than wrap up their stories. At this point, I'd really love to see Cassian and Luthen united and standing over the corpses of Syril and Dedra, but I just don't think they've reached the maximum limits of their Imperialness. We may see some secondary characters go down, but I'd say the core five or six are safe.

Interesting idea about B2, I'm actually worried about him more than some of the humans. I think the Empire probably doesn't think him of any use and they have ISB agents spying anyway. It is curious though, like the ISB guy in Cinta's coffee shop- why are they going to the trouble to disguise themselves? Imperial are all over the town, and he's not really even doing a good job of NOT being obvious about the surveillance.

... it was also moving for me to see B2. But in the same while, I couldn't help but think to this I**A commercial - a Sweden mark for interior designing. Prepare your tissues.

Erm. The only time the Imps got their hands on B2 was when Karn and Linus invested Marvaa's house.
And they weren't purely Imps but Confederates.
I have a lack of faith about them efficiently hacking the droid.

No please no Dedra Denise Gough is so awesome. I want more of her. She's a master piece for the ISB, she's the only one who smells and scents the Rebellion growing, and iirc she's the the one who guessed the existence of the Axis.

 

Prediction: B2, in some future episode (next season), gets damaged and they have to download his entire operating system......

.....just about this time, a K-2 security droid is captured and its operating system is wiped....

....you can figure out the rest.

And if they do this, it will be so cool....

 

I have fought saying these words most of the season!! The pessimist in me says it's too obvious. The sentimental in me says if it is true, well then Rogue 1 just became even more heartbreaking. I mean, B2...K2... It could be!
