Anthony Daniels is Pissing Me Off

Don't be mad bro, and don't worry I pissed on his arm and its now all rusted red!

 

He needs to stick to his craft and do his job as best he can or don't do it at all. Be thankful for the opportunity and not critical of what parts about it you don't like. If it's that unbearable, quit. If not, no need to talk about it like that.
I'm happy he's back as C-3PO. He can do it like nobody else. I guess I'm just sick of celebrities complaining.
Look at Harrison Ford and how grateful he is for the opportunity as he said at SDCC

 

I would not put too much stock into UK/London media sources.
They are widely known for blowing things way beyond what the actor or entertainer might have really said.
It's not a big secret that AD and Kenny Baker didn't get along.
As noted, Bad Robot & ILM got the guys from R2 Builders to help create new R2s, .
As AD says too, Hamill hasn't "aged well" but he's not as popular as Harrison Ford nor has he been in the public eye as much.
MH(Luke) has done a lot of voice acting and is well liked in the US film industry.

I've never met AD but I know people who both worked & are good friends with him. They don't have any - remarks about Daniels.

 

How can he remember Ford, Fisher and Hamill from their early days of SW when Bail Organa had his memory wiped?

 

Its wrong to tar all of the UK/London sources with the same brush, there are 3-4 major papers from here which exaggerate or downright lie much of the time.. but that doesn't make the entire of the UK less credible when it comes to the news.. Most news outlets on the planet gets their news directly from the BBC.

First of all i've heard many stories of Daniels being quite rude to fans.. and whether Daniels is good with individual fans or not is beside the point anyway.

There is no excuse for this rude comment concerning Mark Hamill's appearance (who was in a disfiguring accident years ago) and the comment regarding Kenny Baker is extra harsh seeing as Baker is in poor health at the moment.

I wash my hands of Anthony Daniels, i've simply heard too many negative things about his attitude to others. There is no excuse for it.

 

there are some who say that with great talent comes a big character. anthony daniels has a very specific way of seeing things and even though he might not be the most open minded guy i think he just need to be respected for his talent and not just for c3po. daniels did not dissapoint us of course but its a little bit of the same thing with jake loyd ... people keep hammering him because he supposedly "intentionally" ruined our manchild childhoods. he didnt.

 

Or maybe he was just trying to give Mark a hard time (as a old friend?) I dont know I would say funny poodoo about my old good friends too in the interviews and then have read a message from them like "How dare you dude"

Since when is a Clouded rating classed as punishing others? It means i'm clouded, unsure, on the fence.. making up my mind, weighing up both sides etc etc.

I haven't given out that many clouded ratings regarding this topic anyway.. Three at most (which must now be deleted because I went through and can't find any) along with all the positive ratings I gave people.

He's always been a bit pretentious because he considers himself a classically trained "theater" actor, and there's always been rumors of his feud with Kenny Baker. I actually met Anthony Daniels when I was young and he was really nice to me, but obviously it was a 30 sec encounter in passing and not enough to judge him by.

 

Disclaimer, I'm posting, not because I give a rodent's rear about feuds between actors or people not being tactful,

But because I just read this whole thread. Dammit, we need us some real SW news

For a moment there... I thought I heard Kenny Baker say the trailer was coming in December... then I listened again and he said "trio."

 

Hopefully this is just the tabloids blowing everything out of proportion as per usual.

 

I think the most likely scenario is that Anthony Daniels thought this was a casual encounter.. not knowing that the person he was talking to was from the Daily Mail.
