I plan on driving up to Los Angeles and watching TFA at the CHINESE TCL IMAX Theater in Hollywood (and also do some other LA stuff over the weekend with my brother/sister in law.) Anybody else going to see it there opening night?????? I have noticed that you can pick your seat in advance at this theater for showings almost 2 months in advance.........only 150+ days to go. What are the chances of getting decent seats (3 tickets actually) for the opening showing??

The chances very slim but good luck to you, BTW make sure you get a seat at the back, the best viewing IMO, In 15 years going to the cinema I have been able to get a seat row m no 16 consecutively without a hitch.

Opening showing might be tough, but not opening night. I've never had issues getting 2nd viewing tickets for the 2am/3am showing (oh yea) and keep in mind, I wouldn't be surprised if instead of only midnight showings they also have 8pm showings on the 17th. Seems to be the norm now, so opening night should be easy. But like I said, opening SHOWING, different story...

Good to know ..I was also wondering about a possible early time.
Anyway, thanks for the input ...I just subscribed to the theater's newsletter
for any announcements .......as long as I see it at that theater at one of the
earlier showings.....I will be a happy Gungan. lol.
