    Something about this just seems so A New Hope-ish. Besides the seemingly direct allusions to the original, it might be because it's a recording of a recording, and the fidelity is low in a retro kinda way (the audio quality of the recording really jumps out at me like this). But with the narration telling you how exciting the adventure will be and that this is an epic story, it is similar to the original trailer and promos that I've seen. And maybe even corny, in a good way.

    I can see the appeal of both... Han's lines in both the teaser and trailer certainly gave me a lump in my throat. I also felt like it was an emotional thing for Han, which was nice for his character's development. In other words, I prefer the sentimental versions, but can certainly appreciate the more fun and snarky version, too.

    I prefer the trailer "Chewie, we're home" but this one probably makes more sense given the frenetic pace of the scene.

    Also: Rey calls BB-8 by his/her full name, so I'm guessing no nickname, like Artoo/Threepio?
