    Mark Hamill gave the best performance ever in Star Wars and I still feel he should have been nominated.

    Adam Driver was as is typical great.

    Joonus is a tremendous physical performer.

    Everyone was quite good consistently. This trilogy was the best acted and directed yet.

    Adam Driver is a superb actor, top tier, this is evident in his work, if you've seen Marriage Story then you know this to be true.

    In the ST, Adam took a very difficult role, often written with Maclunkey dialog and made it shine. Adam Driver's talent will last for a long time, I firmly believe I'll still see him headlining major Hollywood projects for at least the next decade to come, if not longer. He's just that good a talent and it's only a matter of time before he wins an academy award.

    Donald Glover is also a superb talent too and one of the few redeeming features of Solo in my book.

    To me, Adam Driver is head and shoulders above everyone else.

    1. Adam Driver, easily. He got to express so many different sides to his character, and nailed every one of them.
    2. Ian McDiarmid. I'm sorry, but no one else in Star Wars comes close to him. He steals the scene every time he appears, you just transfix on him and forget about everyone else.
    3. Andy Serkis. An underrated actor in general, since most his characters are mocap, people really don't get the vast majority of work he puts into his characters. Despite that, he still manages to really show off his acting chops.
