    Yup! You're certainly right. That's the thing with these roles, a character can play more than one. As far as being the narrator, that's kind of what I implied with "setting things up" like in ANH or ROTJ. Also, I'm not trying to make 3PO or R2 seem like they're less important characters, in truth, they're among my favorites in the whole saga, albeit their characters feel more important in the originals.

    Oh to be sure... they are beloved... but I agree, they are companions, not the Doctor...
