Captain Phasma's Fate

Perhaps the idea of Finn's defection changed Phasma's personality. Her best and most promising soldier just rejected all that she had teached him. Perhaps the moment when she was captured by Finn, Chewie and Han, she was already rethinking her allegiance and loyalty to the first order. If she would have been completely loyal and wanted to be an example for her soldiers, she would have preferred death over lowering the shields. Perhaps the Starkiller attack on the Hosnian system affected her in some way. Johnson has some new plans for her, I'm sure of it

 

If I would no longer believe in the system that has forced me to commit massacre which made me question my morals and caused my most perfect creation to defect, I would seriously feel no quarrels about lowering the shields of a genocidal weapon of mass destruction. I would certainly favour my own life first. Phasma is going rogue. She and perhaps even many in the stormtrooper corps are questioning which side they're on. Perhaps Finn is already the example.

You know I really liked the Star Wars legacy comics mainly because the empire and stormtrooper corps were fighting themselves half of the time. I very much hope to see it in the next movies, it would fit in well with Finn's story line, and perhaps even Phasma's. Remember this comic:

We get it, people love human space nazis, but not everyone can just flip from one side to another....I mean, let's be real here, Finn already did it. And that's already a clichéd plot point in Star wars.

I don't think Captain Phasma will "turn good", I think it's possible that she was a double agent from the beginning. She lowered the shields a little too easy for a seasoned warrior. Or, if they did throw her in a garbage compactor, maybe the planet shaking allowed her to escape, and now she will make getting revenge her ultimate goal against Finn.

 

Phasma won't be good in episode 8 after Finn humiliated her with the garbage disposal move, she will want payback on him.

 

Captain Phasma is one of the worst Star Wars characters ever developed.
First, the "battle armor" suit was intended as a combat or 2nd outfit for Kylo Ren.
The film character was only created after the producers chose to have more female characters & wanted Ren used in different ways(not as a small unit or troop commander).

Also, please do not post how; "Plasma is the new Boba Fett!" Or she's just like Boba Fett.

Phasma is a DIFFERENT character!
TFA could not have Captain Phasma at all & it would not matter.

 

I know I expected big things for her, her own lightsaber, tie fighter squadron & star destroyer, instead she has humbled to just carrying blaster, I'm surprise Gwen didn't say to JJ,, ''Is that it'', really?,

You know, "Star Wars" legacy did influence the concept artists: so what if it also influenced the story group? You should look up the Wiki for Cade Skywalker.
Though Finn being a stormtrooper defector was something Larry Kasdan came up with.
