Classic Storm Trooper helmet or FO Storm Trooper helmet?

I am so proud of you all, I have never seen a conversation like this (or any at all) that didn't descend into violence and yelling in the Star Wars fandom.

That's a really hard decision, I couldn't pick one so I didn't vote. Honestly, I think I like the Phase II clone helmet the best. The original helmets are no doubt cool, but during a couple of scenes you can see them bobbling around the actor's head, which I got to take a couple points away from them for. The First Order helmets are not bad either, but they seem a little to plain.

 

This may seem like blasphemy to some, but how are you not going to include clone trooper helmets in the poll?

 

I just hope they will keep the same design of the FO troopers for ep. VIII and IX.

 

I prefer the OT (classic) stormtrooper helmet, might be the nostalgia involved in it. But the more rough look compared to the "newish" look from the clones and the First Order has the gritty look from Star Wars. Though this is my opinion anyways...

 

The new helmet design to me is ....perfect! It is the one thing that I am the most satisfied with. It is the perfect evolution in the design concept. You can see the old design just a bit more modernized. I really like it a lot. I only hope we see more than just Captain Phasma in the chrome armour with these helmets too.

 

Nothing will ever replace the OT Stormtroopers, but the FO Stormtroopers are cool too.

 

I'm in agreement with @Muyeika Samuravi . The OT helmets were awesome, but they look like someone doing their job while the newer helmets have this sort of... malice if you will injected into their design.

 

It would be great to have Clone trooper helmets in poll to, I agree.

I have been driving around and have seen many cars that have similar styling to the new stormtrooper helmet. This includes the Kia Soul that I was behind a few minutes ago.

I voted for the old design because the mouth looks better than the new one. I would still rank all of the specialized variations of the helmet seen in the OT above the standard stormtrooper helmet, both old and new...

Is the jawline the same for Cpt. Phasma's helmet different than the standard stormtrooper? To me it looks thinner/sharper.

The Classic One is cooler for me. But that's because I can't get this image out of my head. I cannot unsee it so I still chuckle at the first order helmets from time to time....

The photo, yes, but someone Photoshopped the yellow to make it look more like a duck. haha.

 

I think we're all just to damn excited to start bitching at each other about anything at this point.

I also voted for classic stormies even though I'm totally in love with the new design, and it's for one simple reason: lack of nostalgia. Looking at the OT helmet bring back old feelings that I latch onto like some sort of wild dog attacking something.

 

Personally, it looks more like he has nacho cheese smothered on his face.

 

Original helmets look organic - as if they really provide life support to some foreign creature.
New ones look like snowmobile racer helmets!

 

I have a stormtrooper sticker on something and I was looking at it upside down and the bottom of the helmet looks like Mickey Mouse or maybe Goofy.

 

iTrooper look sick although I admit they look like snowspeeder helmets first
