    Im thinkin though that it would literally be a teaser for a teaser. At most it would be like the first TFA teaser from November 2014

    It's important to remember that for The Last Jedi, the title drop wasn't related to any particular event. It just dropped online on a random day, probably according to some sort of marketing algorithm or something. Wouldn't be surprised if we got a title drop out of the blue sometime soon, and a teaser at Celebration.

    There are going to be rumors of a teaser "coming this month" every month from November until when we actually get it. We (obviously) didn't get one in November. Whether or not we get one in December, I'll let you know in about 2 weeks.

    Yeah i did a write up of dates. If JJ follows roughly the same schedule December would be pretty early for a trailer even if it was just a teaser. I would love love love to see something but I just dont know.

    THE FORCE AWAKENS
    • Begin Filming
      • End of Match beginning of April 2014 plus whatever shoots had to be rescheduled because of Harrison Ford hurting his leg
    • Force for Change
      • May 21, 2014 and July 21, 2014
    • Teaser Trailer
      • 8 ish months later we got the teaser on November 28th, 2014
    • Full Trailer
      • Close to a year later we got the full trailer on October 19th, 2015
    • Movie Release
      • December 18th, 2015
    Episode 9
    • Begin Filming
      • August 2018
    • Teaser Trailer
      • If JJ took 8 ish months to release a trailer after filming started that would put the teaser close to celebration and not December.
    • Full Trailer
      • Later in the year again maybe September, October or November.
    • Movie Release
      • December 20th, 2019

    First full Trailer for TFA came at Celebration Anaheim April 2015.

    I believe TLJ teaser didnt happen late 2016 because of imminent Rogue One release. So Teaser came out at Celebration Orlando in April.

    That's not entirely true. The title dropped shortly after production was finished. So it's very likely that we'll get the title for IX in February.

    Opens with LucasFilm logo and Snoke's theme, followed by the words:

    'Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the wise?'

    We then see Palpatine talking with Anakin.

    'He could save others from death, but not himself...'

    Cut to: Snoke's remains being cared for by one of his servants. Suddenly, they begin to reanimate and join together. Snoke reforms.
