    My impressions of Galaxy’s Edge- amazing, incredible immersive experience. The sights and sounds are pure Star Wars. Every vantage point brings new views of the architecture and reveals how much time and effort they put into Batuu. The shuttle on top of one of the buildings will periodically fire up its engines and depart, the sound sweeps across all of GE from end to end as it departs . Plenty of nooks and crannies stuffed with SW trinkets and lore. Even the trash crew uses a mobile unit with an R2 on it (see the green device in my pix above). MF ride takes you thru an entire starship repair facility with great noises and droids and aurebesh writing and tools etc. we saw Rey working on some landspeeders , the woman playing the role here had a striking resemblance to Daisy. My first ride on the Falcon I got to sit in the right seat up from (“Hey Dad you are Chewie!!”) and getting to pull the handle to send the Falcon into hyperspace is worth the entire visit. Note we have not gone on the Rise of the Resistance attraction yet as it uses a “virtual queue” to control the crowd. Basically you get on your iPhone at either 7 am or 1 pm and try to get into the queue online....not too impressed with this feature and think they should have just opened up normal fast pass for it.....more to follow we have one more visit!!

    Hopefully you got there early enough where you get to compete in the "Will I get the access code sent to me today" competition. Nothing like watching a bunch people early in the morning waving their phones around, hoping to receive the Rise of the Resistance Party Invite while you drink coffee. And don't hug Vader if he shows up. They seem to frown upon that one.

    for the 7 am queue you don’t have to be at the park since it doesn’t open until 8 am. We tried and could not get the 7 am one. We are heading to the park now and will try the 1 pm one.....this really is not a good way of doing this. They had the tried and true fast pass system yet chose this twice a day lottery....
