First an overall summary of the plot of RotR, spoilered in case you want to be surprised if you do this. Second, two videos from the ride.....

Spoiler: Rise of the Resistance story

OK you start this amazing experience as Resistance recruits taken to a shuttle for transport. You start in the briefing room with full size BB8 and an awesome full size Rey hologram, this is so clear, she just appears in the corner of the room no more than a couple feet from you. She gives an overview, that Finn and some resistance fighters have infiltrated a Stardestroyer. You are walked outside to a landing area with a full size T-70 X-wing in Finn's black squadron logo, and a full size shuttle. You get on the shuttle (the X-wing and shuttle engines are starting, superb sound effects and visuals too). Inside the shuttle you see various display screens and also a mon-cala pilot (superbly detailed animatronic). Suddenly Poe comes onscreen saying enemy spacecraft inbound, you are attacked by TIEs, Poe loses a couple X-wings and has to break off, he says "stay strong - I will be back". You are caught in the tractor beam and taken aboard the stardestroyer. At this point the SAME DOOR you came into from the outside, opens, and you are ON BOARD the stardestroyer, in the most beautifully detailed FULL SIZE hangar bay [I have no idea how they did this - it is amazing]. The room must be 100 feet by 100 feet - there is a FULL SIZE TIE fighter on the right side and rows and rows of first order stormtroopers in front of you. At this point the FO officer takes everyone into an interrogation room, and the officer approaches each group and asks some questions, my 17 yr old son had a light saber he bought that he hid inside his shirt!. You are then herded into a holding cell with about 4 other families. Hux and Kylo appear and tell us we in deep trouble, and do not expect any help to arrive. The lights go out and suddenly one wall of the room you are in SPLITS OPEN with glowing red edges and a Resistance fighter bursts in saying he is part of Finn's team and he can get us out!! You leave that room and walk to an adjacent area where you board individual prisoner transport units with black R5 FO droids on front. This is where my video begins, as you now travel througout the interior of the stardestroyer in your attempts to escape. You get to the bridge, which is a magnificent room, with Hux and Kylo, at that point on the forwardview screen Poe and the resistance fleet jumps in and starts attacking your star destroyer! During this ride you go through a room with at least 2 FULL SIZE AT-ATs that you go under, around, and then eventually on an external elevator going up one level to the head of the AT-ATs. you can see inside the open head hatch and see FO officers and troopers, just an amazing effect. Finn and his troops are shooting at the FO and a huge battle ensues, with you in the middle of it. You go through a room, UNDERNEATH huge shock cannons that are shooting at the resistance fleet, just jaw dropping. You end up getting jettisoned from the stardestroyer and FREE FALLING through the space battle to the planet surface below......words cannot describe this attraction.....just amazingly detailed throughout...NOTE: YES that is Kylo cutting through the ceiling trying to get to you at one point!!!

yes that was me with most of the commentary , the scope of the ride was just amazing. The bar has been set very high

I highly recommend you wait , if possible, until mask mandate ceases and fast pass opened up again....ride wait times were becoming too long while we were there.
