SPECULATION Do you think Ahsoka will die this season?

That's why I have so many ideas coming into my head !

 

let's all be honest.. one of the most emotional moments of clone wars was when ahsoka left.. and one of the most emotional moments of rebels, if not one of the most emotional moments in all of star wars canon, will be when ahsoka dies at the hands of darth vader. i'm dreading the day as much as i dreaded the end of han solo.

 

But just watch them NOT kill her ...

 

Clouded her future is.... The introduction of Grey Jedi gives the writers a way out of Yoda's "Last of the Jedi" statement. I'm leaning towards Vader owning her, but SENTIMENT has me wishing otherwise.

 

He could turn her it's one of his inquisitors .

 

She will die, I just don't really feel it this season. I wouldn't be surprised to be proven wrong, however...

 

Sucks if it does come down to this...I like Asoka since TCW series but mind you, I didn't watch every episode of all the seasons. I...will be sad but not as sad when I saw Vader redeem himself through the eyes of his son but only die shortly after he told Luke that he was right...and to tell his sister....that he was right about the good in their father. Not to mention Han's death...even still, hits home to me. Cuts me like a knife because we saw it happen in the movie... and I love TFA.

 

I have to agree with you on that part...I don't think hat Ashoka *potential* death will have the same WOW factor like the ones you described .

 

The final two episodes are titled The Twilight of the Apprentice (Parts 1 and 2).

 

Is the apprentice Ahsoka or Ezra ?

 

Hmm that's an original thought...if it's Ahsoka, it could be her twilight as an apprentice and her test would be fighting Vader but for Ezra it could be him moving on from Kanan OR it could mean "Twilight" for both of them .

 

Yep. Disney’s pre-teen oriented Star Wars cartoon will end with an all-out holocaust for the beloved heroes of the show, because as we all know there’s no retconning allowed in Star Wars which would permit them to survive and from a certain point of view seemingly defy the edict that the Jedi are extinct.

You should start talking to your small kids now about the reality of war and how to suck it up and learn to accept the good guys will all die violent deaths, just so they’re prepared when it happens.

 

I hope Ahsoka hangs around a lot longer.

If anyone has to go this season I would suggest the Hera character. Her displays of gross negligence in planning and leadership have cost the lives of allies. For all we know she may be an agent de provocateur or even an assassin/informant for the Empire. All she really brings to the group are her ships with their questionable record of detecting localized tracking devices. Perhaps the Rebels and their allies might be better served with more competent tacticians in leadership and some force sensitive piloting instead.

 

If Ahsoka does die, I would like to see a hunt by Vader. I want to see Ahsoka running from planet to planet with Vader on her heels until she realizes there is no where to hide and must turn and fight.

Vader helped hunt down the Jedi who survived the purge. Let's see some of that in action.

 

I honestly feel that she will end up perishing by the end of the series, but not necesarrily this season. Dave Filoni has said that he could see this show lasting for five or six seasons, so killing of Ahsoka so soon seems like it might be a bit premature. Then again, depending on what their long term storytelling purposes for the series are, Ahsoka may not fit into those plans well and ending her story here may make the most sense.

The fact that we don't know for sure definitely makes things fun and adds more tension to the show at this point. I lean slightly towards her survival this season, but only slightly.

 

Yep that is what expected since we never seen her in the OT, yes she would be much older

 

Ahsoka is not a Jedi. She was not exactly a friend to Yoda either. No reason to have her die.

 

Well, she's an active part of the rebellion though.

 

I think we need to remove Ahsoka as a crutch for the heroes. If they get overwhelmed by inquisitors, she could always save the day.

 

I could see Ezra, Kanan and Ahsoka take on Vader all at once and Vader utterly destroying them. This would nicely fulfill his role as destroying the Jedi. Ahsoka might surrender her life so Vader wont end Ezra. Ezra might lay gravely wounded to found the Knights Of Ren after seeing the power Vader has and Ahsoka's weakness. Knights of Ren become Vader worshipers?

I'd like to see Vader open the ground beneath the feet of the Rebel army and swallow them whole in Rogue One or maybe toss X-Wings at them from the sky lol.
