Extended Sneak Peek of Resistance

I still don't like the the style of this show... But it's nice to see Starkiller Base! And that Leia voice actress is quite good too.

 

I like what I'm seeing. The setpieces have asurprisingly big scope for an animated TV show. It's funny, light-hearted, colourful - I like it.

Animation looks so so cool. Hope to see more of the timeline with FO than those races.
Can't wait.

 

It looks good! I feel some uneasiness within myself about this show now, but I think it's more to do with the surprising amount of maturing the trailer held than anything else. I set my expectations to Saturday Morning Cartoon, but now I'm thinking it'll reach that Rebels level of maturity far sooner than we expect. General Leia's voice sounded pretty alright to me! But her model felt a bit...off (too tall, jaw not the same I think). Nothing I can't get over, but it'll take a moment.

Overall, I'm still excited.

 

I'm SO in! SW:Resistance looks like a ton of fun!

 

Seems like there's gonna be a ton of different fighter designs, battles in different environement and lots of different aliens... Where was this when I was 8?

 

Looks like Kaz is wearing a New Republic jacket of some sort when he first gets his mission from Poe. I think he may also be flying a T-85 X-Wing in one shot too, which is cool because I don't believe we've seen those updated models in action yet. I like what is see of the pre-existing characters and the First Order in the trailer (more Poe is always great!). I guess I'll give the show a try now.

Still uncertain about this show. I feel like it should of been a video game (we need another pod racer type of game) but i'll give this series a chance.

 

What, another social media scandal? Geez, that's why I stay away from Twitter, Instagram and use Facebook only for communication.
Since they don't have time to recast Leia, I would suggest to (try and) ignore this blast and focus on the show itself.

 

I'd say keep her recordings for the episodes they've animated, for future ones (and future seasons) find a new voice actress.

 

That's the rational approach. I wonder if the "fans" are going to use this as an (another) excuse to gang up on the show. Although, they do still seem to focused on Rian Johnson.

 

I feel like the "Resistance is bad because it's aimed at children" crowd and people who seem disappointed/angered by what Rachel Butera did don't have much of an overlap.

 

Well, neither of them has seen the show yet.

 

seeing Starkiller Base on this show is the best thing ever. : D
i know i hope for too much, but where there's Starkiller, hopefully there might be Hux and Ren.
