    Hey guys,
    I've got a small silkscreening shop and I've just started making my first TFA t-shirts. The first one is based on the new Stormtrooper. Check it out. (this is a photoshop render. I haven't screened any yet. Should get some done this weekend and I'll update.)

    I've seen a few other t-shirts like this but the graphics just didn't capture the new menacing look of the Stormtroopers. So I made my own. Let me know what you guys think.

    Thanks for the suggestions. I'll probably add some different colors. Does anyone else think having the release date on the back is lame? I can still change the design.

    I haven't worked out a licensing deal with Lucasfilm. There is some precedent for things like this to fall under "fair use" as a funtional item. It's a fuzzy line where artwork is concerned. Even using the "Star Wars" font style could be considered Trademark infringement. So a lot of small shirt companies just kind of roll with it. Now trying to pass something off as an authentic Lucasfilm product, is an explicit no-no. I'm considering this more of an interpretation. Or an expression of fandom.
    Thanks for the warning. I'll definately look into actual licensing.

    They are nice the only problem I would have though is that it would make my boobies look like they have eyes and my ahem breasts are quite big, sigh :(

    I like the design though but unfortunatey it would not suit me.

    however...i work for an international law firm and i would not be advising my clients to rip off disney BUT you are correct in saying the law is a bit murky.

    Awesome design, but I must agree that the release date is a bit lame. No print on the back would be prefered if you ask my opinion. :)

    Yeah I just have a problem with white seems like whenever I where a white shirt at the end of the day it has a stain and I'm left thinking "how the hell did that happen!? I was so careful!" (wampa)

    EDIT: Or you could do grey and try to do a Chrometrooper Captain Phasma design? I know it probably costs a bit of money just to print the testers.
