Once again.... speculating... I have no link to spoiler material or else.

The Cave could be materialised from the dark side rejected by a pure Jedi Knight.
A place where BAAAAADDDDD midichlorians are enclosed and rejected.

A Jedi purifies himself of the dark force by creating these Cells.

Only Luke.... it is HUGE! Almost a whole planet of darkness. A nightmare for a Force sensitive individual....

    Only speculating....

So powerful it creates a magnet to weirdos like Darth Whatever.

HAHAHAHAHA, unfortunately, they are part of Star Wars now, don't they ;)

Like a Virus, enclosed in a "Cave".... injected to a Padawan as a VACCINE.

Well they did give Terrance Stamp a small but important role as the Chancellor. Jimmy Smits played Senator Organa another small, but important role. MVS could still be important to the film, but not the evil villain we were all hoping for.

I agree with you it would be a waste to have MVS sit at a bar and play a washed up clone war soldier, but MVS would probably make it one hell of a memorable character.

Unfortunately there are so many rumors floating around, can't tell whose source is right at this point, until someone gets a hold of the real script.

Let's remember for a moment that all the rumors about Driver being evil stem from one post...

"in the vein" could mean a lot of things... all it really means is "similar". Similar in what way? That he will have a tragic flaw that leads him astray, but that he will eventually find redemption? That he will be manipulated by a much greater villain? That he will wear all black? That he will fall into a volcano?

Somehow I have a hard time correlating "aristocrat obsessed with Sith memorabilia" with "fallen Jedi who filled with self-hatred"

I find it easier to relate it to, "one of the offspring with enormous potential, but great self doubt and jealousy, who is led astray but eventually does the right thing"

Greedo was on screen for just over a minute... anyone want to debate his importance, or how memorable he was?

Yea I think it makes perfect sense actually that he is sitting some where desolate pulling the strings from behind the curtain while his man out front (Adam Driver) is pulling the Republic/Rebellions strings. I think that because it is exactly what happened with Sidious and Plagueis!! After his injury Plagueis sat out in the middle of no where working on his attempts to escape death while his apprentice Sidious was the political manipulator in doing his masters bidding.

So yes. It makes perfect sense because that is what happened before.

    a) Plagueis wasn't "sitting it out", he was dead... Palpatine killed him.
    b) Before he was killed, Plagueis didn't hang out in junkyards
    c) After he was killed, Plagueis didn't hang out in junkyards
    d) MvS is not the big bad baddie from this film
    e) Driver is not a front man for MvS
    f) While Palpatine used his powers to expand his influence, he did not do it from a junkyard
    g) After Palpatine became emperor, he did not hang out in a junkyard
    h) Plagueis wasn't manipulating Palpatine as emperor... he was dead
    i) Anakin used to hang out in a junkyard. He was a slave
    j) When Anakin stopped being a slave, he stopped hanging out in junkyards

Other than that, I so totally agree with everything you say...

Did you read the Plagueis book? Just a question not saying in a jerk-ish way.

If memory serves (and I am old and feeble) it begins with Palpatine killing Plagueis... it backs up 30 some years, goes through some backstory, and ends where it begins, with Palpatine killing Plagueis...

    Did I miss something?

Right lol it ends around the death of Darth Maul or the beginning of Attack of the Clones, don't remember exactly. It's also been a while for me, I read it last summer. Good book :)

The Battle of Naboo, if I remember... but I think it kinda summed things up, Plagueis being dead and all... and I don't remember anybody spending a lot of time in junkyards... I do seem to remember people using their power, oh, I don't know, to gain more creature comforts and improve their position...

I remember Palpatine manipulating things so people would be brought to him... I don't remember him sitting around in the middle of nowhere waiting (hoping) that some girl was gonna find something and maybe do something else...

Generally if you're going to be snarky it is good to be correct. No in fact Plagueis did sit out in the middle of no where for a long time. After his jaw was injured in the attack by bounty hunters he retreated to that palace or whatever he had for a long time, and was doing experiments on animals and his failed apprentices comatose body. Plagueis was pulling strings of the Senator from Naboo and helping him ascend to power from his self exile. As for your other asinine and sarcastic comments about junk yards, my point is that if a Sith Lord has already proven himself willing to sit out the main game and just shot call while he does something he thinks more important, I highly doubt it is that difficult a stretch to do again. As for points D and E, you know this how? You best pals with George Lucas?

Oh and don't worry. I don't agree with anything you said.

There has to be more to it. I'm thinking he will be bar hopping, gaining "Kira's" trust, while also being the dark Lord in secret to convert her.

Well, as Tom pointed out, you might have been referring to incidents which occurred during the novel... so lets take the novel and bring it in to this conversation...

    Plagueis is dead...

    Move along...

Possible... I ain't buying it, but its possible... Here are my objections to that...

First of all, if rumors are to be believed, MvS is this drunk malfunctioning cyborg, but when he sees the lightsaber, he becomes lucid, and later reports to someone that "it's been found" If MvS were the big baddie, someone would be reporting to him... now, I can go with him being an agent of evil, and I posted a rather long theory to that end, but... THE baddie? Nah... the Sith are arrogant, and while they may have learned a few things, they don't exactly hide... they come in, kick ass, and dominate...

Now I can totally go with the deceptive side of things, but... Palpatine didn't pretend to be a serving wench, he climbed the ladder accentuated with a little dark mojo... but he hid in plain sight, and made a good game of flaunting it to demonstrate how foolish others were...

Now if the cyborg were the head of a smuggling cartel? Maybe... crime syndicate? Hell, planetary governor? You just don't have a lot of influence as a drunk cyborg... its a good cover for a spy, maybe an agent, just not where I would put the Pazuzu of the universe...

NOW... the fact that they used Pazuzu to denote the baddie... a demon that possessed people and needed to be exorcised... that I might buy... not real keen on the possession theory, but there it is.. Just like Rachel and Thomas, I think the name wasn't used randomly...

    Just sayin...

I thought there were several sources either hinting, or definitively saying, that Driver will be playing a villain.

There have been several rumors, that he would be the Vader-esque character, that he would be the aristocrat... but that was the beginning of the "evil arc", from my recollection... the others tend to say something to the effect of, "and remember, Driver is a baddie" referring to that article...

The photographs tend to confuse that a little, showing him in the Rebel flight suit... which would make sense if he were doing the, "fallen good guy who gets mislead but redeems himself" arc, but not the, "Sith master dominating the universe with an iron hand" thing... it would be like coming out and going, "Oh yeah, Wedge is secretly the leader of the Alliance"

It has been thirty years. We have no idea what the universe is like. It is entirely possible that Driver is a Aristocrat with a dark side affinity who is being used by a higher power in order to infiltrate the republic. Very much like Dooku.

I am willing to admit that the universe may have tilted keel, and that Driver could be an Aristocrat who infiltrates the Alliance (something I had not considered)

Dooku, however, was a Jedi who became dissatisfied and left... kinda the other way around...

But... plausible, I am liking it...
