I'm wondering if there is any official plans to cover the time between VI and VII via the comics...

 

I would say that is possible... But it does lead one to wonder who she was referencing... certainly, any number of soldiers in the real world could fit the bill, and certainly they deserve our full recognition. If it were no more than this, all may be forgiven if she had heard of some friend who had been wounded...

The thought crossed my mind, of course, if she could be referencing Luke, however...

I think Carrie is just being Carrie -- witty and sly. She knows she can't say anything specific so she's just dropping hints in her original way. I think . . .

 

never could work out if her over use of capital letters was interesting, a clue or just bad grammer lol

with Carrie.. she could literally be talking about anything there.

I think she's just talking about the idea that the biggest heroes are determined by their villains. IE Darth Vader was such a massive villain as well as Palps that defeating him made the heroes that much more epic!

OR Batman was always the greatest comic book hero because he had the best cast of villains, always challenging him and puching him to the brink. This is my philosophy regarding the idea, anyway.

 

On Carrie's tweet: I believe she may have been referring to the death of Robin Williams which occurred a few days prior to the date of her tweet. As she has struggled with mental illness and knew that Robin did, I think that's what it was about. JMHO, though, some of her tweets do baffle me. Just my take, she's been "twitter silent" for the most part since filming began, honoring her NDA.

 

I went ahead and created a thread for it... thought about putting it in Concept Art, but that thread has been so played out, I'm not sure anyone is reading it for anything other than debating minute details...

Last August, she signed with UTA. For some reason, she just switched to CAA

Wonder what that is all about...

 

Not a big deal IMO. Actors change reps all the time. Maybe UTA wasn't providing the kind of attention that she required.

I don't get it either...alien...robot...other... There were a few rumors from separate websites about her playing a villain but that hasn't been talked about since like...June? Too many characters have been said to be villainous in this movie at this point.

 

They are all villains... from a certain point of view. This will be a trilogy about the moralistic choices between good and evil, right and wrong. But what is right, and what is evil, often depend entirely upon the side you happen to find yourself on. Remember that had Hitler died in the days before the annexation of Austria, he would have gone down as one of the greatest leaders in history. What he accomplished was to take a country that was literally starving under the treaty limitations of the first World War and in a matter of years brought the country from starvation to a point where they challenged the entire world. Obviously the price that was paid by the fruition of those plans moved him from the hero to the villain forever, and the degree to which he was revered or reviled depending on which side of the battle lines you stood on.

 

That link looks like a distraction from what is actually happening in JJ's secret box thingy. As viral pointed out why use an oscar winning actress for mo cap. Otherwise Disney have money to burn building dancing robots and hiding valuable/expensive actresses behind them .
