    Sounds like an insurance nightmare! The salvager best have some kind of wired powers that allows her to move objects by the power of her mind and some kind of light power cutting tool, it might resemble a sword.

    Interesting indeed... one would say the temple they are describing would be the Massassi temple on Yavin... but that would be total speculation. One would also say that if Stormtroopers are overrunning it, it doesn't look good for the home team...

    The Empire knew about the Yavin base, so it would be strange for them to have left it after ANH, and return to it now... and if it is the "Pirate's Cove", why call it pirate? Rebels fight, smugglers get things through... pirates raid ships and take the loot...

    I think it would make more sense for an offshoot to be striking from here, something not of the Alliance, but raiding the remnant convoys

    I get the feeling that pirates and criminals will be a big part of the Sequel Trilogy's narrative, in order to explore the wider repercussions of the actions of the Rebellion and Empire.

    One of the original plot lines for the OT was the enlistment of the smuggler cartels against the Empire... which could be getting recycled

    That supports my Imperial surprise attack theory I posted in plot speculation.

    I'm beginning to accept that "Pirate Cove" may have been a nickname for the Massassai Temple set. Not saying pirates won't play a part because they should, when a major force collapses (Empire) piracy often kicks in to high gear.

    "Say what you want about the Empire, at least they controlled these damn pirates"

    You say that in jest, but I do think a lot of the galaxy will feel this way... Once the Empire collapses into chaos, the systems they control will as well. People may have rejoiced over the death of the dictator, but with the fragile Alliance not able to move in quickly and solidify the systems, and the shelves at the galactic equivalent of WalMart running bare, people may not be thankful of the Alliance
