    About the Rumor of Rey giving orders to First Order's Stormtroopers:

    If you ask me, in the first Act of TFA Kira/Rey is indeed, Ania Solo, all the way:

    Daisy Ridley's words about Rey in Celebration are the same premise of what you can read about Ania Solo's bio in any website. It is almost the same of what we know about the first Act of TFA:

    Solo was working as a junk dealer in the Carreras system, and she accidentally discovered the lightsaber of Imperial KnightYalta Val after an Imperial communications droid containing the lightsaber turned up in her junkyard. Enlisting the help of her Mon Calamari friend Sauk, Solo attempted to sell the weapon on Carreras Major, but soon became the target of a Sith posing as Val when the Sith learned that she had his lightsaber.
    Pursued by the star system's security forces, Solo, Sauk, and their friend AG-37 joined forces with the Imperial Knight Jao Assam. Solo's friends were injured in a battle with the Sith during their escape attempt. Determined to save her friends, Solo pursued the Sith......

    I know.. maybe this sounds strange, but forward in the story of Ania Solo, she gives orders to Stormtroopers too... But in the story she doesn't has to be a Sith for doing that... So maybe Rey gives orders to a bunch of Stormtroopers, but not necessary she has to be a Sith or a baddie for doing that... Who knows... Time will tell.

    SW Legacy is a great place if you want to search for clues.

    Ok. Am I the only one who thinks the ends of Rey's spear look like light saber hilts? Perhaps it's a spear type saber weapon? It has to do SOMETHING. What the hell does it do if not ignite into blades on both ends?

    A little more found along that line:

    In 138 ABY, Sauk (FINN) and his new friend Ania (REY) discovered a lightsaber inside a salvaged Imperial communications droid. (BB-8) The two attempted to sell the lightsaber in a city on Carreras Major (JAKKU), but ran afoul of local security instead (LOCAL THUGS AS RUMORED) This skirmish drew attention of Darth Wredd (CAPTAIN PHASMA) impersonating the Imperial Knight Yalta Val. Wredd (CAPTAIN PHASMA) tracked them to Ania's junkyard, seized the lightsaber and ordered the guards to kill both Ania (REY) and Sauk.(FINN) However, they were saved by Ania's friend AG-37, (POE DAMERON) who offered them a transport off the Carreras system. (JAKKU)

    Obviously they are abandoning parts of the story, but it seems a bit too much to be coincidence...

    Thoughts?

    Seems more likely they may mean next autumn for Episode VIII, but you never know. Cutting it fine, planning to go back, at best, a matter of months before release date.
    But, then again, you can never have too much footage of someone handing Luke a lightsaber... :p

    It sure has a lot of similarities to the speculation and rumors out there. Especially Volume 3 where Ania's village is ambushed by a masked guy and she is later captured and interrogated aboard a ship. The masked man is bitter towards her for leaving him behind earlier in life.

    I think the Warwick Davis thing is simply a case of "he is involved in Episode VII, but is best known as playing Wicket" by way of an introduction to the fans.
    King3000, whose info about the shooting of scenes in and around Maz's castle has all been proven to be pretty much spot on so far, said Warwick was playing some kind of musician among Maz's cronies...

    Going back to Skellig Michael for VIII is a clue that Luke is hiding on that island in TFA and that some Yoda on Dagobah type training is going to start in the next movie.
