Yeah, it came on earlier before A New Hope, nothing new though, although the intro was cool, clips from The Force Awakens trailer merged with OT clips.

Its on right now, just came on, watching it again.

 

Is there anything new about the superweapon? For a while it seemed to be a huge storyline, but now it's relatively smaller.

Does anyone else notice how C3P0's upper torso looks like it was attached wrong?

Although a lot of the officers have been British. I never really understood that...

They've been there over a week...
but this may be interesting. I just noticed that many of the images still include metadata talking about the camera and the date taken and stuff like that. Here is the "date taken" from 4 of them:

For the most part, they coincide well with what we know about production dates.
22 May is perfect for the Teedo shot, although 9:43 PM seems a bit late for the lighting (Abu Dhabi is close to the tropics, so it would be dark by 7:00 PM). However, it may be possible that the camera was using London time, which would put the local time (GMT +4) at around 5:43, which would be getting close to sunset.
30 May seems a bit early for General Hux, as it would indicate that filming moved back to Pinewood a little earlier than expected. It would also have only given him 2 weeks to grow this:

10 June fits with what we know about filming of the village attack sequence, with cool nights and sightings of Oscar Isaac, but the time is just far too early in the day.
24 September would have been one of Anthony Daniels last days filming, so that one could check out, and the time of day on a studio set is practically irrelevant.

Coincidence? Or does it mean something?
Anyway, thought I'd share.

 

Another thing to keep in mind is that JJ usually tries to film in chronological order. So that picture of Hux is most probably from the scene where he orders troops to hunt Finn down.

 

Where did you get this info on JJ?

 

I was going to say something about that, but I was thrown off by the shot MSW leaked before SDCC with Hux and Phasma looking at the holographic display with data on Finn. It didn't look like Hux was wearing his coat there.

I think someone talked to the editors a while back. Obviously, when you're filming on location you can't always film in sequential order, or when one of your lead actors breaks his leg and you have to wait 2 months for him to recover... but he still seems to do what he can.

 

I think the order will be given to Kylo to handle personally.

Honestly, I don't think Kylo Ren is concerrned with Finn at all to begin with. He's more interested in finding BB-8. When he learns that BB-8 is with Finn, he starts to pay more attention.

 

Sorry the image seem to be blocked some copyright law thing, concerned or not Kylo will see a duel with Finn as sparring practice, what is it that BB-8 holds that interests Kylo?, if it's been revealed I must have missed it.

 

The picture was a screenshot from the film with Hux and Phasma looking at a hologram/screen with information on Finn.

Kylo Ren's interest in BB-8 stems from a few things.
#1. Oscar Isaac confirmed that Poe starts off on a special mission given to him by Leia. This mission is most likely the one that involved travelling to a remote village in Jakku.
#2. The First Order seem to be particularly interested in Poe's mission, given that they show up at this village in force, with Kylo Ren leading from the front, where they proceed to burn the place down.
#3. Poe is captured alive and taken back to the Star Destroyer. Why would they keep him alive?
#4. BB-8 escapes into the desert and ends up with Rey. What is BB-8 hoping to achieve by leaving his human companion?
#5. After Finn and Poe escape, they become separated with Finn eventually meeting up with Rey. Poe seems to get away safely, so why is the First Order no longer interested in finding him? Is Finn simply a bigger issue? Or do they discover that Poe no longer has what they were looking for (because he hid it inside a droid)?
