Yes, you're quite right! I guess I'm so hungry for more spoilers on act 3 that anything less isn't registering!!! It's also intriguing the bit about a debate with JJ over a "certain issue" and how it was resolved?

 

That's my hope as well... that the action will just be too cool for us to care about designs (hah).

Another concern of mine is the recycling of old vehicles and stuff... what was so exciting about Star Wars vehicles from the OT is that they were like a breath of fresh air... nothing like an Imperial walker had been in any film before that... and then the speeder sequence in ROTJ. We need some new revolutionary thing like that, though perhaps there will be and JJ's managed to keep it a secret?

So looks like the Guavian enforcers aren't force users... I'm wondering if there'll be other knights of Ren in the film?

 

I disagree . Disney marketing is trying to push Rey as the lead because ....well she probably is . Look at how she is portrayed in most the promotional art . Same as Kylo is the lead villain , they make that very clear too.




I think other factors have a play in this such as the thing i mentioned before , the limited way he has been portrayed so far in the trailers. But if we are going to talk about forums and the fans then we also have the elephant in the room that i didn't mention which is (mostly hidden but also open) racism. I have seen my fair share of that towards him. I left that one out in my earlier post cause hot social topics has a tendency to totally take over threads and discussions.
But oh well , sorry!

 

Well, if the flashback sequence does happen, I expect we will see some there.
Aside from that, I don't imagine there will be any others aside from Kylo and Snoke, with more to appear in VIII and IX.

 

What if there is a sequence showing Luke taking on a bunch of knights of Ren? Something badass will happen with Luke

Seems like Kylo's lines from that mask give us some serious speculation fodder right? Can't wait to hear what people think. "Together we will destroy the resistance and the last jedi" ... Talking to Rey I assume?

 

I was expecting kylo to sound more thunderous and violent. But I can dig the calm voice. Maybe it's a nice contrast to when he is hacking villagers in half with the broadsaber

 

That Rey and Finn's storylines could be/are apart for Episode VIII like Luke and Han/Leia for most of The Empire Strikes Back. See the ending for SW:TFA. How much time did Luke spend with Lando?

 

Daisy is signed on for all three films. It may just mean Rey and Finn aren't gonna be the main couple.

 

Snoke, or Phasma, maybe Hux are my guesses.

 

My bets are on Luke.

 

Yeah, all the licensed third party companies and merchandisers (except probably Hasbro and Hasbro sub-brands: see their sexist company controversies (1, 2)) have prioritized Rey and Kylo Ren as the main hero and main villain.
