    Just remember Star Wars is special... there's nothing like it. The status quo for advertising shouldn't work the same way. Those first 2 teasers we got... there's nothing like those in other franchises. The teasers just sort of obliterated anything that came before... that Ultron Trailer... what a joke!

    Did you see the Mark Hamill interview @ Disney from a year ago? As he said... they are putting on the world's biggest surprise party, not trying to frustrate people with secrecy. I already feel like we've seen too much actually. Watching a fresh star wars movie is all about the mystery of what's to come... it shouldn't be a checklist of "oh this is when he gets the X wing... so that means this is about to happen, etc, etc etc". If I had the willpower I'd be staying away from this site... but I'm a star wars junky. I think we all are... we are addicted to this. I think I literally hit refresh on this site like a hundred times a day. I'd probably experience withdrawal symptoms if kept away from the PC for more than 3/4ths of a day. Well I guess it's better than being a world of warcraft addict though.

    Okay I get fingers and toes.

    The older imperial heavy machine gun was heavier in kg and more ''unusable'' to fight with.The newest it's not uninspired at all! Recent anti-insurgent ''little wars" like afganistan show us that patroling on foot with heavier machine guns it's not an easy task.The movie want to show us the progress in design upon light weapons and soldiering armor.The oldest gun reminds me the british vickers and the new one the browning.

    My problem wasn't with the functionality of the new weapon... I just don't think the design of the pedestal is very intriguing. I'm noticing a lot of the design choices are sub par, while on the whole designs overall are fantastic... in many cases exceeding my expectations. Which is why the bad designs stand out... I'm not the only one who's noticed that.

    @Dr. Van You're vfx friend was right it is Driver's voice just modulated. He sounds like a psycho the "don't be afraid" line sounds creepy. Toys with dialogue always sound off from the actual dialogue in the final film in almost every movie that has them.

    I guess that depends on how you look at it. In terms of raw item count, yes, we had less. But on the other hand, the few things we got were much more dense. The first teaser for TPM alone gave us basically the entire plot, a clear look at all the characters, and plenty of dialogue, and it was 2 minutes long!:



    We didn't leave that trailer wondering how much screen time Obi-Wan would have, or if Yoda would be in the movie or not, or whether we'd get to see lightsaber duels, or whether we'd see multiple Jedi with lightsabers, or whether we'd witness the meeting of Anakin and Obi-Wan. I remember having all those questions before the trailer, and after the trailer the questions were gone and there was only excitement.

    Honestly I think they've left too much for people to wonder about and fear. Given the way many people feel about the prequels, I think their first priority should have been to prove how different this will be and to settle any obvious fears, and I don't mean by giving us interview after interview after interview of "OMFG practical FX PRACTICALz!!1!" I mean giving us a trailer that demonstrates some solid dialogue, strong acting, and real looking environments. So far they've only done the last part, and they've left us wondering things we really shouldn't be wondering IMO.
