Speaking of the 1/144 Bandai Falcon, I found some new pics of the model along with pics of the parts sprues and the LED light unit.

As you say though I'm not quite sure myself as with all the make up etc. it could be anyone. By way of comparison here's a picture of her that she tweeted with Jabba the Hutt. I wonder if she's trying to drop us a message?

 

It isn't completed BUT its almost there....
There was a screening a few weeks back for the edit to date...or so I was told.

 

I can picture the scene... Imagine Rey entering to a Cantina looking for Han Solo and Chewbacca and as she goes thru the Cantina at Jakku we see Kanye, Rihanna, Paul McCartney and now... Cara Delevinge. All as musicians/slaves aliens who we will not recognize because they all are wearing masks.. That sounds kind of a Ritual to me... xD

 

As much as I am anxious to read a legitimate leaked description of the trailer, even if one doesn't pop up between now and its release, perhaps all the better; the trailer will end up being a surprise.

 

Oh That happened to me last time... I want this trailer to be a surprise too (but I hope they officially announce it a day before so I can catch it up right away)

REAL audio leaked a night before Celebration and I listened from youtube and it was indeed the audio with the Luke's monologue of teaser 2. I think a lot of people listened to this leak by "faking Star Wars" I think?... I hope they will manage this better this time... With no leaks and a clear, anticipated date/time officially announced. That way we won't be so anxious, don't you think?

I meant that the special edition from 97' kept the franchise in our minds alive/fresh till 99' just in time for the release of TPM.
The late 80's till mid 90's was less or more a "off season" for us Star Wars fans.

 

I think it's sort of cool that there is nothing fake. Calm before the storm......

Our friend VIRAL HIDE posted that 136 minutes runtime sounds like it includes the credits which are usually 8 minutes on average.

So 128 minutes of film is what it's looking like. So excited...

 

i always thought that was daisy ridley in that costume and with fake eyelashes ...not cara

so since rey might be the daughter of leia, there might be a coincidential event where she is captured and becomes a slave?

So we may have just gotten our first official taste of the plot of the film...

Disney Interactive recently issued a press release for the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens playset for Disney Infinity, listing the following short synopsis:

"In Star Wars: The Force Awakens Play Set, players will travel to a galaxy far, far away alongside new heroes and old friends in search for a much-needed ally. "

Now according to the vice president of Disney Interactive in the USA Today article, the play set will "hew very close to the plot of the upcoming movie," and vice president of Infinity, John Blackburn, even goes on to talk about how "we got concept art and character descriptions, you read the script and then you go make the game. We send things back, and the team that is making the film looks it over to make sure it’s right."

So Star Wars VII: The Search for Luke seems to be the real deal.

I'm really surprised more people aren't talking about the plot synopsis...

I'm sure that most of us will agree that the "much needed ally" is Luke Skywalker... but perhaps it's not? Perhaps this ally is the Force itself? Maybe it's the Republic or something.

 

Well Luke is the force as far as everyone is concerned , the last Jedi . There is this old saying in the galaxy far away "may the force be with you" and the force is no longer with the Resistance . The dark side has emerged once again and they need him. Sure you can build weapons and have great armies but "the ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the force" . They have nothing to counter balance this old and dangerous evil force that pollutes everything and that no one understands but a Jedi. The force is a missing puzzle piece and Luke is a key player crucial to win the war. Leia knows this.

As a comparison , in Lord of the rings you have all these armies fighting terrible battles but it would all have been for nothing if they wouldn't have been able to destroy the one ring , the source of evil. They needed Gandalf (Luke?) with his wisdom and knowledge of magical things and they needed Frodo (Rey?).

Or perhaps the much needed ally is Wicket!

 

Man i thought the same thing, first that was Cara Delavinge, second i thought was Daisy Ridley i even posted that in the MSW link about this character

 

I think we think everyone and their mother is in this movie. As everyone has said, who's worked on the movie, we don't know anything compared to what we think we know.
