    really hope we find out the final selection for the new characters soon. I know Del toro was announced but I think there was 1-2 characters left that weren't locked down? Hopefully this little VIII tease is the first of more to come soon! ;)

    I'm pretty sure that they'll list the key players right before filming actually begins. Not necessarily all of them, mind you - since Gwendoline Christie and Lupita Nyong'o were absent from the initial announcement - but several of them.

    Yeah "involved" but not officially official...in my opinion, I'd rather see an official statement before jumping the gun. Was Guvu supposed to be a lead ?

    She was up for a female lead role. Word was that there were two new female characters. Now it seems like these characters will be getting less screentime in favor of Finn, Rey, and Poe.

    Speaking of King's Landing.....

    Not such a big role in TFA for Miltos Yerolemou in the end. According to IMDB he ended up playing a 'bar patron'. Bit of a shame really, when he was announced I was looking forward to seeing him kick some butt!

    ATTENTION MSW - Think the "Leak" of the plot for Episode will be something like this:

    01. Opening with Star Wars logo, then the tittle, "Episode VIII - The First Order Strikes Back", crawl in...
    02. On an Ice planet Finn and Poe face an ice Rathar during a snow storm
    03. Captain Phasma lead an First Order assault to the Resistence base
    04. Outside the base, in the snow environment First Order AT-AT's engage battle with Resistence Snow Speeders
    05. Resistence Base is destroyed and General Leia runs away with Finn
    06. Meanwhile Luke Skywalker trains Rey, making her enter an old twisted tree to face Kylo Ren Ghost
    07. Leia and Finn arrive into a planet/city and enconter Lando Calrissian
    08. Kylo Ren arrives in their pursue and kills Lando Calrissian
    09. Leia faces her son Kylo Ren, "Why do you follow Snoke"
    10. Because he is my Psychiatrist and told me my problem was not liking my mother
    11. Meanwhile Luke sense his sister is in danger and force lifts an x-wing from the sea to go save her
    12. Luke and Rey arrive in Lando planet/city to face Kylo Ren
    13. During the fight Luke screams to Rey, "I am Not Your Father"
    14. Rey will scream "NOOOOOOOOOO" (whilo Kylo Ren cuts her hand off)

    Of course this is just joking around but considering the direction of the narrative writing in TFA this might not be too far from the real stuff.

    That wasn't the initial report, but it was mentioned later on.

    There's a lot of conflicting information regarding casting reports. Hopefully, this gets cleared up by the beginning of filming.
