    Pirates of the Caribbean huh? What were the chances that I mentioned it and a few days later Bob Iger confirms a movie is being held for ransom. It's probably best publicly to say it was POTC, If that is their modus operandi. Could you imagine if he confirmed it was TLJ? It would be the most talked about Leak in the history of cinema.

    I know there are all these sites saying it's fake, it's a hoax, but unfortunately for all these sites, they were a few days too late. Once mentioned everyone went on the hunt. There are snippets of what went down in earlier posts from cached screenshots.

    Anyways, the guy who got the leak, had told them. Then he sold it for what is apparently 10K. The Guy who bought it, may now be the one trying to extort Disney. He paid 10K and he may be asking 10x or even 100x that amount. IF it is TLJ ;)

Here let e put it to you this way, one of the screenshots sent by, the guy who claimed to have the copy, was of Finn and Rey reuniting at the base in TLJ. In the conversation posted, the receiver Sam confirms it and says ''Looks legit'' ''I'll keep it spoiler free for now'' Then he goes on and posts a picture of Finn alone to debunk the claim? come on...that should have lit your light..so it looks like damage control, but whatevs..

    You could be right or wrong. All I'm saying is, Iger did not confirm a finished film, nor any type of other information that leads anyone to believe it may be POTC. If someone leaked that as the movie being held? then they better hope the authorities find those guys quickly, because if it's a 5 minute leak of TLJ that hits the net...

    Let it play out. CNET, Variety, CNBC, are reporting it. Deadline is saying it's Pirates, but it could be BS to prevent a panic. Anyway, this story coming out weeks after your discovery is suspicious.

    It's possible it could be BOTH. If Disney is stupid enough to keep a workprint of TLJ on their servers, it's possible the hack yeilded multiple movies. I mean, if I'm going to commit a felony, why not download it all!!!

    As far as I know, this movie was mentioned by Deadline. They also confirmed Disney has not said anything..but inside sources tell us that.....

    It's also possible that after the first bluff was exposed with The Last Jedi, they moved on to threatening a new bluff to extort money out of Disney with a different film bluff (Pirates 5 according to Deadline) or films with the same technique of 5 minute/20 minute chunks and demanding bitcoins.

    Since there's not enough conspiracy theories in American Politics. I'll try this. What if the TLJ bluff was actually not the person who had it but a Disney employee posing as the hacker to kill the story? Now the story is back and Disney leaks to Deadline that it's Pirates and is using them to try and kill the story again. All the while they are stalling and searching for the hacker with TLJ.

    "the rumored TLJ work print being leaked to the russians is F A K E N E W S being spread the lying press, there was nothing i said to them that wasn't already in public knowledge, okay? we have the best people at disney on it, the best people, i know them personally, we've got millions and millions of dollars riding on this. the futurition is a no-talent guy. you know, his ratings, they were gonna, the cantina was going to ban him before he mentioned the work print. i did great things for him with the work print. great things. but we have to figure out what the hell is going on"
