Have you heard of the term..."FAN-FICTION" ?

 

Nothing about this 'leak' sounds legit. We could have made a thread and contributed a more interesting and plausible ep 8 story treatment in an hour.

Just re-watched Looper last night. No way Johnson would write a story, SW nonetheless, so bland and boring like the one described in that clip.

I'm quite shocked to notice that you updated and edited your earlier otherwise really very short comment about the obviously fake leak (which I have quoted in full in my post) and blatantly appropriated the point I made about D'Qar in my following post, updating your posting to include a whole new paragraph, the first important point of which basically rephrases my original (and earlier in time than yours) observation I made about the plot issue with D'Qar, without attributing me for making the observation first. Taking credit for someone else's astute observations is really very lowly and unbecoming, Sir.

That is really uncool especially for someone who is listed as "Staff Member". Just wanted to point it out not to be petty, but because now my posting which appears later in the thread looks as if I have been the one repeating and unoriginally copying your point where in reality it is the other way round...I know that this is just a forum, but still, that's just not cool and certainly not a gentlemanly way to behave.

 

I agree it's just fake leak not worth bothering about at this early stage.

 

I think this guy has Rey's questions pretty much nailed. Check it out. I'll bet this will be very close to what happens so don't watch if you don't want to know.

 

Yeah, this video combines points already made by others previously. (It really isn't this guy's original theory.)

As regards to Kylo being the one dropping off Rey on Jakku and the points/evidence this video makes - I agree as regards to Kylo. The huge issue I find with the video is that he presents zero evidence really that Rey is Luke's daughter and Kylo's cousin. That's merely speculation that I think will be proven wrong. If Rey and Kylo are related it is much more likely that Rey is Kylo's sister. The impact and conflict will be much bigger. Cousin. Really not so much. I personally think they are not related. This would raise the stakes so high as having Kylo the only new Skywalker. Otherwise with "light side" Rey being Luke's daughter and Kylo being the dark side cousin, I see no drama there...

 

Agreed, but the guy does quite a nice job of summarising the main points and I have to say I pretty much agree with everything he says.

The only thing I'd add, from a personal point of view, is that Kylo Ren probably stole the Falcon from Han when he left, probably just to spite him.

 

I agree about the nice job of summarizing the points and I also with most of what he says, apart from Rey being Luke's daughter.

I was also thinking that the fact that Unkar Plutt has the Falcon is probably not a coincidence. Maybe a payment from Kylo for UP for "looking after" Rey...?
Or maybe really just a coincidence...and a (successful) nostalgia-inducing plot way to re-introduce the Falcon for all of us SW nerds who got super excited to see it early in the film?

 

I wonder if this will end up being a famous quote from the movie that he's letting out here......

 

Also his twitter page is prominently featuring Douglas Adams. I already love this guy!!!!!

My friend i agree with you but i will never put my hands in the fire for no one or no Star Wars Theory, as impossible as it could be the reality is that stranger things have already happened in the Star Wars Universe and the creative teams are slacking bad lately.

Can someone explains me what a "Frozen" article is doing in a SW Forum? Disney Quotes? Because if it's a Disney Movie Thingy i would prefer to go with "Toy Story", "ToyStory 2" and "Toy Story 3"

 

Maybe because Frozen has to do with loss and friendship as well...
