A important month in the life of TLJ.

 

They just finished filming. Now comes editing. I doubt this will b 2:30:00 on the nose.

 

No. Actually they just finished post production last week. So the movie, and any editing is all done. It is ready to be shown to audiences in December.

 

Filming finished over a year ago. Post production ended almost 2 weeks ago.

 

If I was King of the Internet, every site would have a different running time listed from 73 minutes to 183 minutes because I know that my efforts would be tirelessly debated in Star Wars fan forums.

I didn't see this posted on this thread. I debated posting it on the 4chan/Reddit rumor thread, but thought that this source could be more legit? In any case, apologies if it is posted on another thread, and mods please feel free to delete or move this post if it has. It has quite a few views, so I am all but certain that many people here are aware of this, but just in case (Possible big time SPOILERS):

Thoughts? I kind of wish he was a bit clearer in separating the supposed leaks from his own theories and speculation. He also has a couple of follow-up videos.

 

SWT is not legit on any level. He used to make pretty fun speculation videos but seems to have gotten the click-bait bug because of the views and subscribers it attracts. He's making crap up.

Well, in fairness... I seem to recall plenty of rumors being immediate dismissed for TFA too - only to have them later proven to be true

 

There's been VERY few legit leakers and one of them was bothan_spy on reddit but he stopped after people harshly went after him and calling him fake, though later was vindicated when his leaks started being proven true with official info.

 

Well, we could certainly debate the information. One thing that he mentions is that

Snoke is an ancient Sith from the time of the Old Republic.

However, IIRC, J.J. (or Pablo Hidalgo, I can't remember :/ ) has said

that there are no Sith in TFA.

So, that is a red flag right there. However, I would be hesitant to throw the baby out with the bath water. I think that was his own interpretation, and it could just mean that one detail was erroneous.

 

I don't know if this is a coincidence with the trailer possibly releasing next Monday or not, but I received an e-mail from Movie Inner Circle that had a survey about The Last Jedi. I got the e-mail on Friday but I only took the survey today. One interesting question it asked was, "Have the trailers for The Last Jedi gotten you excited to see the movie," pretty much along those lines.

 

If I recall, J.J. also said it wasn't Kahn.

 

True dat. He has gotten so much flak for that though - you think he would do the same thing twice? I think it is much more likely that there weren't any, and this is branching into new mythology.
