    It's already confirmed that he will be in the suit at least once.

    Age is not a problem IMO. First of all both - Ewan and Hayden - look good and could totally be believable as younger versions of themselves.
    Secondly, how do you remember your adventures with your friend? Most often you don't picture you and your friend how you looked 10 years ago but rather only the events.
    So, if Obi-Wan remembers the PT times Anakin and Obi-Wan can look older. It's like a dream. In a dream you mostly see your current self, even though the events of the dream may be couple of years back in time.

    Long story short- I don't need any de-aging.

    I prefer to see both, Anakin and Vader with Hayden as both. Flashbacks as Anakin and in the suit as Darth Vader!

    Darth Vader can have a role like Moff Gideon in The Mandalorian. A big presence while only appearing in a couple of episodes and mostly being cameos

    So, I've just rewatched ANH and now I'm changing my tune. The way things currently stand (i.e. pre-Kenobi show), how the fight ended in RotS and Vader's statements in the duel in ANH doesn't line up well.

    In RotS, Kenobi scolds Anakin and then abandons him on the banks of the lava river. In ANH, Vader tells Kenobi that: "When I left you, I was but a learner. Now, I am the master." This, unless Vader is having a senior moment, pretty much confirms that Vader & Kenobi must have met one another again, in the flesh between RotS and ANH, an encounter resulting in Vader leaving (abandoning?) Kenobi somewhere for whatever reason.

    If Kenobi tries to save and bring back Anakin, this even lines up with how: "Obi-Wan once though as you [Luke] do..." from RotJ.

    So, yup. Kathleen Kennedy's "the rematch of the century" has to alude to a proper, in-the-flesh and present day (i.e. not flashback) event.

    Even though the quote "when I left you I was but the learner..." Can be taken literally (=> Anakin left Obi-Wan to join Palpatine) I still agree with you.

    IMO this time Vader will beat Kenobi and leave him to die alone. Poetry and things like that.

    What fans would love to see:
    Flashbacks of Anakin and Kenobi together in an honest-to-goodness live-action Clone Wars battle. Maybe even a fight with Vader and part of his mask falls off revealing Hayden’s face. That would be cool too.

    What we are most likely to get:
    Hayden in the Vader suit for 2 minutes, face covered, voice dubbed over.

    Especially when we were told that this Vader would be in his prime. Even more impressive than the Rogue One Vader.
    And.
    It will be Vader against Kenobi.
    So many memories, coming from the ancien times, will wich will come to the surface again.
    I'm sure their first confrontation will blow us up.

    Ahsoka will save Obi-wan from Vader using World Beyond Worlds. This will introduce WBW to pave way for TLJ and TROSW retcon.
    Rey unknowingly used a WBW conduit on Act-too. Think snapping her fingers. She changed the timeline that resulted in Snokes death and brought about Palpatines return. On the other side of that Wall was not her parents, It was past Ahsoka and Luke watching future Luke and Rey and realizing what happens in the future.

    had Rey not inadvertently opened that portal,…
