@Amanaman are you a little jester ;) ? I am absolutely not against you !!!

    - the reviving
I actually said: "it was ten years since the last SW movie appeared on screen" (by on screen I mean in a theater - so, does not concern a videogame nor a DVD box).
I counted that: TFA outted in december 2015. The last SW movie I remember is ROTS that came on screen in 2005. Makes ten years.... or am I mistaken ?

    - concerning Jessica:
You quoted her as she said "TFA is above the PT" and stating that you disagree with her.
I just wanted to balance what she said: TFA is technically above the PT - in my mind that simply meant that other criterias exist that are not technical, and for wich TFA is below the PT... this is exactly (that word "technically", she said, and you didn't quote) what I wanted to comment you, no more ;) please believe me, I did not say you're mistaken because you don't agree with her ;)

Hey don't worry my friend that It's all good and I'm not angry or anything. I love debating SW with fellow members and it's all in good fun. It really sucks though that when a person writes things down there is no way that we can sometimes figure if said person is mad or just joking. :)

A latecomer answer to the original post, item 4: a possible twist

YouTuber, Generation Tech, posited that the Starkiller Base was built into the planet Illum, sacred site of the ancient Jedi, where they got their kyber crystals. What if Snoke guided the First Order into making another Death Star out of this powerful, holy Jedi artifact, fully intending for the Skywalker twins to swoop in and destroy it? Though it did fire once and take out the whole New Rebublic, for Snoke it was merely bait to draw out Luuuuuuuke Skywalker.

Probably trying to kill two birds with one stone...speaking of something that might be off-topic for a second quickly, many people think Luke's face when he sees rey might have something to do with Rey or his dad's lightsaber but it's most likely that he felt the majority of the new republic die just like obi-Wan did in a new hope, probably one of the more subtle retreads of ANH..

Luke might have felt the destruction of Illum as well.

but that did happen (IF it's Ilum) most likely years before TFA so I personally believe that it would rely more on so many people dying at the same time since most of TFA had many callbacks to ANH
