There wasn't a thread on Hera so I figured I'd start one.

So it was revealed in the latest Rebels Recon that Cham Syndulla is actaully Hera's father not her uncle! Interesting!

Interesting... I haven't watched the newest episode, but no worries because that isn't too much of a reveal. I actually missed the "uncle" part before that.

Might need to rewatch those TCW episodes to get a feel for how he was, it escapes me at the moment.

Yeah its been said "Hera's uncle" Cham Syndulla will be in the upcoming Lords of the Sith novel, but Pablo Hildago said in the Rebels Recon he is her father. So I'm guessing it's either a secret to Hera or miscommunication from Lucas Film this whole time.

I hate to sound like a space racist, but Hera is obvious green.

Good call. I think that makes me the space racist. They do all look alike. *runs*

Also the markings on that child's head tails are not the same as Hera's so....

Wasn't there a green one in that episode? Can we all at least agree they shop at the same hat store?

Guys, sorry to say but you're both space racists.

Actually it does open an interesting discussion. All crazy I know, and I'm sure @Link Voxx is right and it's just someone made a type or mispoke somewhere, but... considering the wide variety of colors the Twi'leks can have (I think the movies/shows have shown blue, green, purple, yellow, pink, etc.) unlike we humans (who essentially just have shades of brown)... can they change color as they mature?

Or long lost sister? Cousin? We can go crazy pretty easily on trifling matters so long as they involve Star Wars. :D

That is an interesting thought. I doubt it though. Why make her color and markings change rather than just making her yellow if they wished for her to be the twi'lek from clone wars? Often, the simplest explanations are the best.

Certainly the best, but not the most fun. ;)

There's also her age. Hera seems to be in her late 20's or early 30's (giant space-alien-aging presumption, I'll admit). Rebels is about 18 years after those episodes of CW, so Hera would've been around 10-12 years old during that time. That Twilek kid looks younger than that, so I'm betting that was Hera's little sister. We'll see whether this is at all relevant to the show...

Hera is about 20 in the book A New Dawn and that is set 10 or so years before Rebels.
