... and I can't believe I still occasionally buy copies of games I had on the Atari 2600 in the early 1980's. Btw, they also have a web-based version of the game (produced by Atari, and what free ad did I see but a membership ad for the AARP?) online. I managed to get to level 9 before I was plumb out of cities. I was impressed with myself.

We'll see how I do on the copy I just got on Xbox. I suspect it will be more difficult. I remember being able to play that game on an arcade machine until the screen turned to daylight defense. That's when you knew you'd arrived as a Missle Commander. Of course there was always someone who could go around all the different colored screens and get insane scores, and you wondered what else they did with their time or their money.

So, what vintage videogame are you playing nowadays?

Hey there! As a fellow old school gamer, I totally feel you on buying copies of vintage games. There's just something so nostalgic about it!

I haven't played Missle Command in ages, but I might have to check out that web-based version you mentioned. Thanks for the heads up!
I've actually been on a bit of a retro gaming kick lately and have been installing old games on my modern consoles. It's so cool to be able to play games from my childhood on my Xbox or PlayStation!

I'm new to this forum, so I'm still figuring things out, but it's really cool to see some people with similar interests.

There's always those multi-system retro-consoles they have at third-party stores or on the net. We got my father-in-law one and he really enjoys it. They make these things to accommodate games from up to five different retro consoles, and they can even use the original controllers.

I'm not that big a retro-gamer, however I'm a tad curious about the Cube for several of its Star Wars titles.
