    Take a second to imagine a world where you could go to the cinema blissfully unaware of what was about to unfold on screen.

    Now imagine that film was the next installment in the Star Wars saga!

    Welcome, fellow SW fanatics, to this daring (and probably futile :D) endeavour.

    Now, if you're like me, and you read ALL the script leaks, watched every trailer and TV spot, and devoured all the tidbits of info for TFA, then perhaps you crave a SW movie-going experience that will surprise at every turn.

    Of course, that is easier said than done.

    Most will argue that avoiding the next TLJ trailer will be an impossible task. And, if we were left to our own devices as die-hard fans that check this forum on a daily basis, I would agree.

    BUT, there is hope. If we band together for the next 3 months, maybe, just maybe, this feat can be achieved.

    Make no mistake, if you choose to travel this path, it will be a long and challenging road fraught with danger littered throughout our Facebook feeds and accidental spoiler-tag-less posts on this very forum. The next 90 days could very well be the toughest ever faced as a SW fan post-Disney acquisition.

    All of us will be tempted, and not all of us will succeed.

    And that is why we need a community of anti-trailer brethren to hold us to our word.

    That is why I ask - no, implore - all of you to take the pledge.

    Together we can overcome the desire to watch the next trailer. Together we can truly experience TLJ for the first time in theatres. And even though we will be watching TLJ on opposite sides of the country or globe, we will be comforted in the knowledge of what we achieved right here, together.

    So, repeat after me:

    I solemnly swear to avoid the next TLJ trailer!

    I'm switching off as soon as the trailer's out and I've viewed it a few hundred times, that's for sure.

    I've been lucky in a way, as every leak I've accidentally stumbled upon - and I mean literally accidentally tapping it whilst navigating the site - has been limited to things revealed officially through other means, such as the Porgs and Praetorian Guards.

    I'm cool hanging out here at The Cantina until I've talked about the trailer for a bit, and then I'll be going dark: no international trailers, no TV spots, no interviews and no interviews until the premiere.

    May the Force be with you, @Solo and others who take the plunge now!

    I will watch the next trailer and nothing more. No international trailers and no TV spots. These are always full of spoilers.

    Same here definitely no TV Spots for me. Still undecided about Script Leaks though if a full script leaks I will definitely avoid that but minor plot point I will try to avoid but wont get to upset if I stumble upon them.

    I swear not to read spoilers. I try not to get too deep into speculation threads. I won't go out of my way to see a trailer, put it that way. If i run across it, or it's on tv, of course I'll watch it.

    Good luck to all who intend to avoid the trailer. ;) I won't do it, but I won't watch anything that comes after. TV spots and international trailers are the worst - I've watched some for both TFA and RO and I regreted it. As for the main trailers, I didn't feel spoiled by any of them. On the contrary - they hype me up big time and generally make the wait less painful. So I'll become super cautious after it drops and then, as usual, I'll go completely dark around a week prior to the release.

    Yep, TV spots and internationals were the things I succumbed to with TFA and then kinda wished I hadn't.

    Just the trailer for me... then the movie in all it's glory!
