Well she definitely deserved getting thrown into the trash compactor LOL! but overall we really don't know much about her yet so I guess we'll have to wait until the other sequels

Finn's "I'm in charge now, Phasma!" delivery reminded me of comedian Kevin Hart. I thought it was funny. I'm glad Phasma will be in VIII. I hope Kennedy makes good on her "big plans" promise.

 

I hope we see more Phasma - but suspect we won't, due to her being stuck in a trash compactor when Starkiller went up. At least, I assume so...

I thought she would be more of a major character, as she featured to heavily in the marketing. But I suspect that was just because the costume looked so cool.

 

With all due respect, I don't agree with your assessment of the relationship between Captain Phasma and Finn because neither the books nor the film illustrate the slightest hint of contempt or animosity between the two characters.

Both novels show in some detail how Captain Phasma holds Finn in high regard. He is one of the finest recruits the First Order has ever seen and he excels at everything; he is at the top of his class and he is well on his way toward becoming an officer. Both General Hux and Phasma have praised his skills on several occasions (in spite of the latter's reservations about his empathy toward his squad mates). Following Finn's defection, nothing in the book suggests that Phasma is angry and out for blood. In my opinion, she probably felt disappointed more than anything else. Someone she truly believed in had turned his back on a just cause to aid the enemy.

As for Finn, I don't think he hates Phasma personally, but rather what she represents. She is a high-ranking official of an entity that stole his personhood and identity. She didn't mistreat him any worse than the other soldiers. As a matter of fact, she had a great deal of respect for him.

 

She's confirmed for Episode VIII.

 

i liked the way chewy took down Phasma, he nearly took her head off.

 

He said that's because he was excited. Read "Before the Awakening" and you'll have your answer as to what Finn's life was like under Phasma .

 

That interaction struck me as a former member of the military thumbing their nose at a former commander who know longer has any authority over them. It was Finn telling Phasma, remember all those times you gave me extra latrine cleaning duties? Or extra 0200-0400hrs shifts? Well look at me now! I'm in charge! And there ain't NOTHING you can do to me! Why? Cause I'm not in your silly First Order anymore. I'm gone. You've got nothing on me. So stick it! I'm in charge! Oh, and take down the shields.

 

Plasma always sensed weakness in Finn which is why heels never made an Officer and his reconditioning he had at the beginning of TFA obviously didn't stick .

 

Cool - I would like to see her in action more - don't think we even saw her fire her blaster...

 

Phasma could be a wookiee under that armour for all we know, wouldn't that be a twist!?

She tells Finn at one point to leave his buddy Slip behind and let him fail...basically saying to look out for himself and have no true camaraderie.
