    or it could be another IG droid have the tales of the bounty hunters book & think it was mentioned in there that there were 8 IG droids so this could be one of these

    IG 88 was destroied in the novel Shadows of the Empire, no? But SOTE its legends so....it could be him. Need to pay more atention next time.

    Could be, could be. IG-88 does seem to have a tendency of showing up in random bar/mob scenes across the Outer Rim... in some form or another.

    That was my guess. Don't think there is a definitive way of telling if it is actually IG88 or just a similar model

    I actually read that not too long ago. There may have been 8 IG models originally but if memory serves only 4 of them became part of the "team". Plus I think there was one crappier, non-88 model that worked with them.
